"Chuuya, where are we going?" Dazai asked whining. He had asked several times but Chuuya hadn't told him.

They had decided to take a day off work and spend it together, but Dazai had no idea what Chuuya had planned.

"It's a surprise, Dazai. Just trust me," Chuuya replied with a small smile, leading his lover to a small park by the river. They had often come here during Dazai's university days, and now they were revisiting it as an engaged couple.

Once they reached the park, Dazai's eyes widened in surprise. The park was decorated with pink and white balloons and there was a picnic set up by the river. In the center of the blanket was a small birthday cake with a candle on it.

"Happy 2nd anniversary, Dazai," Chuuya said, placing a soft kiss on his fiancé's lips. "And happy first birthday to our little Shima."

Tears welled up in Dazai's eyes as he looked at the cake, realizing that Chuuya hadn't forgotten their daughter's first birthday even in the midst of planning their anniversary celebration. He hugged Chuuya tightly, whispering his love and gratitude.

They spend the day playing with Shima, watching her giggle and crawl around in the grass. They ate the delicious food Chuuya had packed and reminisced about their time in university and how they had fallen in love.

As the sun began to set and stars appeared in the sky, Dazai turned to Chuuya and said, "I'm so grateful for this life we have, Chuuya. I never thought I would be this happy and content.

Chuuya smiled and took Dazai's hand, looking into his eyes and saying, "I feel the same way. I can't imagine my life without you and Shima now."

They watched the stars together, holding each other and whispering words of love and devotion. They knew that they had a long journey ahead of them, but with each other by their side, they were ready to face any challenges that came their way.

As they walked home, carrying a sleeping Shima in their arms, Chuuya couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and joy. He had always dreamed of having a family with the person he loved, and now that dream had become a reality.

Life was far from perfect, with the struggles as a same-sex couple and the constant pressure from society, but their love for each other and their daughter kept them strong and united.

As they entered their home, Chuuya and Dazai shared a knowing look, silently promising to always support and cherish each other in this journey of love and parenthood.

And as they settled Shima in her crib and went to bed, Chuuya couldn't help but thank the stars above for bringing Dazai into his life and creating the beautiful family they had today.

Chuuya was not at home that day and Dazai was chilling on the couch after tucking Shima into her crib when he heard the door was knocked. It couldn't be Chuuya, because Chuuya would never come home at that hour.
