Warning! This chapter contains bullying! If you are uncomfortable with it, please don't read the chapter! I won't tolerate any kind of hate comments or insults!

If you decide to read anyway, enjoy ^-^!

⊱ ───── {.⋅ ۵♡۵ ⋅.} ──── ⊰

Atsuno didn't have a good start at life in the first place. She and her younger brother were born in low level of the Tokyo slums in Odaiba wards to a father whom she could barely remember and a mother who had to leave them in the care of her parents.

As a little girl, Atsuno had very little contact with her mother who worked at a distant factory most of the time.

Due to her family's poverty, they left Atsushi, Atsuno's younger brother, to the orphanage.

This left the little girl to be quite lonely and made her distant from people.

As she grew up, Atsuno would always find solace in art and used it to escape her dreary, desperate life. She would create small drawings on every piece of paper she could find.

She had no friends since people bullied to her because of her family's poverty, for the clothes on her back that were clearly hand-me-downs and for her lunch which was rarely more than a few slices of bread and a meager piece of cheese.

Because of the constant bullying Atsuno now had a huge scar on her nose...

She remembered the day she got this scar... It was also the day she was so tired of her bullies that she decided to fight back, for the first time ever.

She was walking home from school that day when she was stopped by her bullies in the middle of the road. They were laughing at her and mocking her, calling her names and making fun of her appearance.

Atsuno was fed up and outraged, so she punched one of the bullies on the face.

The fight was a total disaster. They were much bigger and stronger than Atsuno and it didn't take long for them to overpower her...

Suddenly, without warning, one of the bullies struck her nose with a sharp object. Atsuno felt a sharp pain as the object landed on her nose and when she looked down, she could see blood was streaming down her face.

That day, Atsuno had three stitches on her nose. When the stitches were removed, her nose was left with a deep, jagged scar.

Atsuno was traumatized and heartbroken after that day. She had been bullied for so long, but this certain incident had left its mark on her physically and emotionally. Despite being embarrassed by the scar, she had found the courage to continue standing up for herself. She used the scar as a reminder to stay brave and show her bullies that she was unafraid.

Through art, she found beauty and was able to express herself better in her art with words. Her paintings depicted a world she longed for and through her artwork, Atsuno found her own little piece of happiness. It was her one true escape and she found great comfort in art.

She drew scenes from her imagination, her hopes and dreams. This newfound passion was the only thing that gave her hope. She also loved writing stories or poems that was inspired by her creative mind.

That's why she busied herself by drawing, painting or writing stories. She was also a good student in school and managed to pass her exams with flying colors.

She soon developed a strong work ethic, trying to make the best out of what she was given and never giving up in the face of obstacles. This motivated her to stay up late hours studying and striving to battle the lack of resources to make something of herself.

However, she was mischievous at the same time. She would often run away from home to explore the city and felt free in it's spaciousness and the ornaments of it's culture.

At age 18, Atsuno had saved enough money to move away from her home.

For one year, Atsuno was looking for her younger brother whom she remembered vaguely. The only thing his name was Atsushi Nakajima and he was 18 years old now, but it was possible that his name was changed by the people in the orphanage.

⊱ ───── {.⋅ ۵♡۵ ⋅.} ──── ⊰

Atsuno went to many places, looking for her brother by asking people around the orphanages. Unfortunately, her searches were in vain since she had no photo of him...

When she thought about it, there was no pictures of this little boy named Atsushi. These whole incident made Atsushi wonder if she was experiencing a paramnesia at that moment... Or was the little boy named Atsushi real? Did she really have a younger brother?

When they were sitting in Atsuno's room, Atsuno talked about her long lost brother to Runa. She was speaking about him to someone for the first time. "Maybe... I remember wrong since I was very little..."

Runa's eyes went wide. She knew someone with the name of Atsushi Nakajima. Atsuno didn't definitely remember wrong or imagined things. Runa touched Atsuno's shoulder and smiled. "You are definitely not remembering wrong. I know someone with this name."

"Can it be the same person?" Atsuno asked carefully in a shaking voice. Then she stayed quiet for a moment before shaking her head slightly and replied her own question by herself. "It can't be... He disappeared for so long and who knows if he is even still alive even if I really had a brother..." It pained her to even think about it.

"You are right..." Runa responded with a soft voice. "I'm probably wrong, but it never hurts to check." She stepped closer and put her hand on Atsuno's shoulder. "It is worth finding out, don't you think?" Runa then added with a smile. "I believe chances are high though! Because he looks like you a lot!"

Atsuno thought about for a little. It definitely wouldn't hurt.

She watched Runa to texther older brother.

⊱ ───── {.⋅ ۵♡۵ ⋅.} ──── ⊰

Atsuno's heart was beating faster than ever as she and Runa were standing in front of Runa's older brother's house. She was excited to see if the boy who Runa's older brother dated was her long lost younger brother.

They were both so nervous as they knocked on the door, waiting with nervous anticipation for it to open.

Runa's older brother opened the door and welcomed them in with a smile on his face after minutes which felt like for hours. "Come on in." He led them to the living room where his boyfriend, Atsushi, was sitting on the couch. Atsuno was shaking with anticipation.

Ryuunosuke, Runa's older brother, introduced the two of them. "This is my boyfriend, Atsushi Nakajima."

When Atsuno looked at the young boy, Atsuno knew it was him, her long lost younger brother she could barely remember. He had grown up so much and he was, definitely, different the sickly looking little baby she vaguely remembered.

Atsuno ran into Atsushi's arms and started crying. After the two of them shared a teary hug, Runa and her older brother went to make some coffee for them and the four of them spent the evening talking and catching up.

Atsuno was so happy to have found her brother again and Runa and Ryuunosuke couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. It was a happy reunion and a reminder that there was always hope, no matter how long it took.
