That was a snowy Christmass morning. "I hate snow." Dazai pouted as he looked through the window.
"Why?" Chuuya asked curiously.
Dazai sighed and turned to face Chuuya, his expression filled with disdain. "Snow is just so... Inconvenient," he grumbled. "It makes everything cold and wet, and it's such a hassle to get around in."
Chuuya raised an eyebrow. "So you tell me that you didn't have fun in the snow when you were a child? Building snowmen, having snowball fights... Don't these sound nice to you?"
Dazai rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh please, Chuuya. Yes, they used to sound nice to me ages ago. Now all I see is slushy roads and freezing temperatures that make me want to hibernate until spring."
Chuuya chuckled, stepping closer to the window to get a better view of the falling snowflakes. "Well, I guess everyone has their own preferences," he mused. "But you know what they say. Every season has its charm."
Dazai smirked, his eyes still fixed on Chuuya as he leaned against the window frame. "Charm, huh? I suppose you are right," he replied, his tone laced with a hint of skepticism. "But tell me, Chuuya, what charm does winter hold? The biting cold that seeps into your bones or constant battle against the frostbite?"
Chuuya's laughter filled the room, a warm sound that contrasted with the chilly atmosphere outside. He turned to Dazai, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Oh, Dazai," he said teasingly. "You always focus on the negatives. Winter has its own unique beauty if you look beyond the surface."
Dazai raised an eyebrow in response, intrigued by Chuuya's unwavering optimism. "Englighten me then," he challenged teasingly.
Chuuya grinned mischievously, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Well, Dazai," he began, leaning in closer to his lover, "have you ever noticed how the snowflakes dance gracefully as they fall from the sky? Each one is unique, like a tiny work of art."
Dazai's curiosity piqued as he listened intently to Chuuya's words. He had always been drawn to the darker aspects of life, but there was something captivating about Chuuya's perspective that he couldn't resist exploring.
"And have you ever taken a moment to appreciate the stillness that winter brings?" Chuuya continued, his voice filled with wonder. "The world seems to hold its breath under a blanket of snow, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It is as if nature itself taking a break from it's constant hustle and bustle."
Dazai couldn't help but be intrigued by Chuuya's observations. He had never considered these aspects of winter. But as Chuuya spoke, Dazai found himself captivated by the way his words painted a picture of winter's beauty. He had always seen the season as a time of cold and inconvenience, but Chuuya's perspective opened his eyes to something more profound.
The stillness that Chuuya described seemed almost magical, like a miracle, like a moment frozen in time. Dazai imagined the world covered in a pristine white blanket, every sound muffled by the snow. It was really as if nature itself had pressed on pause on its endless cycle of growth and decay, allowing everything to rest and rejuvenate.
