Sunset soon walked off, but you don't think she had completely given up just yet. After some gossiping, Dash and her friends had also cooled off.

More or less anyway.

"Do you and her go back or something?" Dash inquired, likely having noticed that you and Sunset knew each other, or, at least, she knew you.

don't lie   —"Not back, I just know her. When I first registered for my freshman year and got toured the school, I saw her around but she never said anything. When the year started, I had classes with her, but we didn't talk." This wasn't the exact truth but nor was it a lie. You did in fact know of Sunset Shimmer in 9th grade, but this wasn't necessarily why you knew her now.

is she still over there  —You wanted to assure Sunset that you weren't under whatever spell this was, as well as offer to help her undo it if this was all your doing.

"Did you two date?" You shook your head. This was the whole truth. Dash left it at that.

"I have to pee, though." This also wasn't a lie. "I'll be okay."

"I'll go with you." You gently pushed Dash down when she got up, nervously smiling as her hard eyes followed you all throughout her descent.

"It's okay. I.. pee loud."

"No, you don't, and I wouldn't care about that anyway."

"I do." You quickly jogged off. "I'll have my phone!"

she got up   —Sunset wasn't too far. In fact, her getting up from under the pier made it easier to conveniently disappear from Dash's line of sight. Grabbing her hand, Sunset yelped as you hid behind one of the beach sheds.

You quickly spat out, "I still remember you and I don't know if I used my magic in my sleep or something, but that wouldn't make sense because I haven't learned spells yet but I also used to transform in my sleep according to Dash, and sometimes still do, which speaking of her, I told Dash I had to go pee so I don't have long, but in advance, I'm very sorry. I don't think I did it but who knows."

Sunset stammered for a few seconds before just sighing in relief. "At least one thing's okay..."

"I can help you tomorrow. I'll.. do whatever I can."

"Oh, actually, I was gonna go through the statue and see if Princess Twilight is any help." She showed you her journal. She and the pony were just talking. "You can come with!"

"I.. actually promised Dash that we would go through the portal together first. しかしがんばってね!" You ran off again.

"[Nickname]!" Dash called when she noticed you walking back. She suspected nothing. You started jogging as it seemed urgent.

"Wanna sub in for Rarity in volleyball? Her nail is sore. I actually hit it pretty hard by accident." You looked at the current setup. It was 2v2; you would be on a team with Dash, going against Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.
