"It's up to you!" Sunset encouraged Twilight, grabbing the girl by her shoulders. She was the only one who hadn't ponied-up yet.

To keep yourself calm, you played with the feathers on Dash's wing as Sunset continued, "You can use your magic to pull the brambles apart!"

fire or telekinesis. actually, sunset seems more like the fire type ... pull apart implies force so i'd place my bets on telekinesis

what's a bramble?

Twilight heartily denied, "No. There's too many of them... It would take too much magic! I.. I can't."

she hugs herself when she's nervous   —You enjoy psychologically analyzing people, but you would never use this information against anyone. You just keep your tabs open and updated.

"It's the only way; you have to embrace the magic inside you!"

"But what if she takes over? What if instead of saving everyone, I turn into Midnight Sparkle and only make things worse?!"

"That won't happen!" Sunset smiled, along with everyone else. "We won't let it."

Your eyebrows raised when Twilight's gaze turned to you. Looking at Dash, you quietly yelped when she pushed you forward, making you stumble. The rest of her friends would gaze at you too.

However, you were serious about what you said the first night here. You could feel your face heating up as your lips quirked into a nervous smile, "...なあんですか?"
- Naan desu ka? → What (is it)?

Whatever the six were attempting to do with their hard gazes, they gave up seeing your cluelessness. Watching Twilight's magic ignite itself, it would quickly become the same color as Midnight Sparkle's and the girl fell under some sort of spell. She was quite literally battling her inner demons, so all of her friends encouraged her.

Sunset was the first to praise: "Twilight, you are in charge!"

Then Rarity. "You are a light, Darling! A force for good!"

"Yeah!" Dash cheered, "You can kick the darkness's butt!"

"We're here for you, Twilight!" Pinkie Pie.

"And we'll be here, no matter what!" Applejack.

Fluttershy was last, "We believe in you!"

am i disrupting the magic of friendship   —Still, this wasn't enough. Her body language remained inferior as she looked around. Glancing at Dash, you remembered her words and sighed.

"I don't apologize for anything I did, or said, but I didn't say much." Despite her haze, Twilight looked over at you. Though, in retrospect, she likely looked toward the sound of your voice as opposed to your actual face.

"But I do... accept your apology, so be it... that's what I get." You tried not to word yourself in a way that implied you wanted or needed an apology. Twilight was entitled to her own opinions.

"You're not obligated to make amends with anyone, as am I, and I can't just.. willingly forgive someone who hurt someone I hold dear and love. I really do cherish Dash."

"But I don't hate you, if that's what my attitude has been implying. Everyone makes mistakes, some bigger than others - maybe transforming into a murderous demon or two, or hurting others in the pursuit of knowledge - but.. you didn't want any of that, and I don't think it's fair for me to hold you accountable for something you didn't have control over."

"But I'm very honest and I'll always hold a grudge, but I don't necessarily resent you. I honestly look at you and feel nothing because there's nothing to feel, but I'm willing for there to be something. Negatively or positively." This was the best you could do in terms of 'closure,' but Twilight seemed to appreciate it. Tears fell as she smiled.

"Thank you." Her eyes returned to normal as the crystal cage Rarity made finally shattered. Watching Twilight fly out through the vines once there was a big enough opening, you had a delayed realization of her wings.

oh, she's a pony with wings. doesn't seem like the type, but then again, there's Fluttershy   —Twilight flew to the cocoon that Gloriosa was isolating herself in. Her purple magic pulling the vines apart, revealing the corrupted girl, she took the necklace and the rocks would fly to the person associated with its color.

oh, they're transforming. thought we were done. off they go   —It didn't take much after this to reverse all of the damage Gloriosa had done (sans the dock). Green sparkles came floating from the sky, and Gloriosa's normal body gently descended to the ground, as did Timber's. The latter was the first to wake up and ran to his sister. A green sparkle falling on Gloriosa's face woke her up.

"What... What happened?"

"It's okay," Timber smiled, pulling Gloriosa into a tight hug. "It's gonna be okay."

there go the dog   —You walked back to Dash as she land on the ground. She smiled, turning to you as the crowd cheered.

"ピカピカ," you smiled as you grabbed her necklace.

She softly laughed, "'Pika-pika?'"

"Shiny."

"Oh, is that why Pikachu says pika-pika?"

"No, Pikachu says 'Pika Pika' because that's the first part of his name." You laughed at her soft 'Oh...'

"Dash, oh my gosh." You soon couldn't stop laughing.

She often asks you questions before even considering a logical answer. It was not that Dash lacked common sense, but that she speaks before she thinks. You found this adoring though, considering her lack of deduction means Dash doesn't feel the need to always be at her best around you and knows that you would never judge her. You've also read a few articles on the cognitive impacts of love.

"Sorry," she sheepishly smiled.
