6:16 AM — [YOUR NAME]'S HOUSE

You tiredly smiled as Dash lay on top of you, her warm hands holding your cheeks as she repeatedly kissed your face. This has been going on since your first alarm woke you up, and while your eyes were still closed, you could feel Dash's hair falling forward - some strands on your face - and creating a cage just for you two.

"Happy Birthday," she smiled, giving you one last kiss. You enjoyed her more feminine moments like this where her guard is completely down.

You softly laughed, keeping your legs around her as she sat up, "Thank you."

her hair's messy. she's cute, i mean obviously. i could talk about her forever   —Dash manually unwrapped the limbs, which was fair. You two still had yet to start getting ready. "It blows that your birthday's on a school day."

"So was your's."

"Well... yeah," You laughed at her sass, "but I didn't get to celebrate your birthday at all last year. The least the universe could do is let me have an entire day to do it this year."

Dash suddenly gasped after getting up. She wasn't in any visible pain so you were rather confused as she dramatically face-planted into the bed. "You have work! No! This sucks!"

"Oh, I called out." She lift her head. "I thought you'd complain."

"Good." She got back up, going into the bag she made for the weekend. "I'm driving, by the way."

"ええ?" you smiled. Dash was still very adamant about a motorcycle being her first, substantial vehicle. She's already registered to start the classes the day after her birthday. "特別に違いない..."
- Ee? Tokubetsu ni chigai nai... → Ee? I must be special

"You are, yeah." You gasped, making Dash laugh.

"I only know what you said because I know 'tokubetsu' is special, and you sounded like you were being cocky, so I guessed you called yourself special."

"Still!" you smiled, clapping for her. Dash has been making some good improvements in her Japanese understanding. This was another goal she was serious about.

"Sankyu, sankyu," she bowed before going to the bathroom to get dressed, laughing as you loudly awed.

10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD PERIOD

"[Nickname]!" Dash called as you walked out of second period. "Pinkie Pie wants to give you a present."

oh  —"まじ?"
- Maji? → Really?

"Yeah." You hummed. It didn't take long to get there, and you two were the first ones as all the lights were off.

"Where is sh- うわ!" You grabbed Dash's arm as the lights suddenly flicked on and screams shrieked.
- Uwa! → (Reactionary noise of surprise)

"Happy birthday!" The room was soon covered in confetti, and all of Dash's friends jumped out of their hiding spots, even Sunset Shimmer who was just in the same class as you.
