AFTER WALLFLOWER'S DEFEAT

"本当にごめんね!" you whined as you wrapped yourself around Dash. She laughed with her friends, her wings and arms wrapping around you as well.
- Hontouni gomen ne! → I'm really sorry!

"I said I'd never lie to you." You were genuinely very devastated. Your two's one-year anniversary was almost here.

"It's fine, [Nickname]," she stroked your hair, "you had to."

"But now there's a double standard! If we absolutely have to, we can lie, but what determines when you absolutely have to lie?!"

"When magic's involved." You could still hear Dash's smile. This was a joke to her. "If magic isn't involved, then we can't lie, but.. supernatural forces completely change everything." You whined, shaking your head from side to side.

"It's not like I would've really believed you. You saved yourself from.. probably us arguing. I would've done the same thing if I were you."

"一年は無駄になった..." Not that a year and one day would have made this situation any better, but in some regard it did. The glory of being able to say you and your girlfriend mutually didn't lie to each other the first year of dating.
- Ichi-Nen wa muda ni natta... → A year wasted...

Dash snickered. "So there's no surprise?"

"違う!" You removed your face from her neck to look up at her. "I have to make it up."
- Chigau! → Wrong!

"Tuesday, though.." You had work tomorrow and Dash deserved an entire day. She laughed out of her nose as you unwrapped your arms.

You weren't sure how the rest of this memory situation would blow over. While you kept Wallflower's story between you two, she was still greatly angered. Not accepting anyone's apology - especially Sunset's - you didn't make a fool of yourself trying to give her one. If she wanted to come around, she would.

TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2017

Your options were limited, not only to things that Dash hasn't done already, but to things you two mutually enjoyed. You would both be going to Japan in a few weeks, so it couldn't be too extravagant, but she still deserved something.

So immediately off of the list was swimming, the beach, the pool, a sports game, a concert, a house date, anything that required her teaching you - i.e. skateboarding - a museum, and karaoke. You didn't want to be too active after such a hectic start to the new week, but not stationary either. Dash became bored very easily.

Thus, you chose mini golfing. It was a fairly leisurely activity, minimally active but still required a focused mind, and it was casual. You two would see enough arcades and roller rinks in Japan, but mini golfing specifically wasn't very popular where you and Dash would be staying. After this 1-2 hour activity, you two would get lunch, shop - completely funded by you. Dash wasn't allowed to spend anything - and then go home.

It was now 12:36 PM as you two stood in line to get your clubs, the sun shining down as you chose a course that was outdoors. While conducting research for date ideas, you discovered that clubs are assigned according to height, but Dash was only 4 inches taller than you, so you two would likely get the same model.
