DAY 1/2 — DAY 1
SUNDOWN — FESTIVAL GROUNDS

"What bands do you even like that would might be performing?" Dash inquired as you were holding her hand, leading you both to the stage. "You like a lot of Japanese songs, and this mystery band was last minute. Kinda hard to get a last-minute flight."

"I like a few English songs."

"Name them."

"Well I'm under pressure now, so I'm not gonna."

"The last band is still packing up." This was evident as you two made it to the crowd. "I can wait." You glared.

She smiled. "If you don't like the band, are we leaving?"

"Do you not wanna be here?" You opened your phone to view your music library.

"No, I do, I'm just wondering, really. I might like the band too."

"I like [insert English-speaking artists/bands]." When you finished listing, Dash hummed, approving of your choices. You chuckled, and soon enough, the spotlights turned on, directing everyone in the crowd's attention to the center.

oh, it's the Dazzlings   —You liked their R&B style of music. Turning to Dash to see how she felt, she was completely and utterly appalled.

oh, no   —The Rainbooms and the Dazzlings are frequent competitors for chart rankings. You nervously chuckled.

"Isn't that so crazy?" you forced a laugh. "Your music rival.. is performing here. So crazy... It's not like I could've known..."

"And they're evil! They lost their voices when we defeated them! Don't you remember?! I told you!"

"...No, actually," your smile softened as it became more genuine. "You never told me that the Sirens' stage name was the Dazzlings. You just call them that - the Sirens - or sea witches." You both blinked at each other.

"Oh." Dash will admit defeat when necessary.

"...Well, still! They're back! I need to-"

"Well, if you defeated them.." you grabbed her arm with a sly grin, "and no one is being a zombie, and we're not arguing, that means they don't have magic."

"So...?" You smiled as she turned around. Rivalry wasn't her issue, it was just her moral code. "You're not financially supporting them, right now. There's no winning here, maybe just.. humiliation if someone sees you supporting your biggest competitor."

"...You like the Dazzlings?"

"They're R&B! You don't have to stay, we can meet up in a few minutes!"
