THE NEXT DAY

this one's really pretty   —Dash was elsewhere as you sat at the lake's shore, digging through the sand and finding eye-catching rocks or seashells. You didn't actually catch what she said before running off, but you would assume the restroom.

Most of the minerals were chipped, so you had a designated pile for ones that were in particularly good shape. Perhaps Gloriosa would let you keep those ones, but it was unlikely. To let good quality be set free, for free, was the exact opposite of clearance.

oh no   —You looked up when you suddenly felt the need to check your surroundings. One of the sailboats hosting three students - Captain Planet, Derpy, and Sandalwood - was out of control, rapidly making way to the dock that was almost finished. All that was left was to secure the premade lanterns to the posts that reached the bottom of the lake. Luckily though, the crash was far away from you, so you continued looking for rocks. This was pretty relaxing and made people leave you alone.

"[Nickname]!" Dash's voice called. She was only a few feet away but you supposed fear caused tunnel vision.

"I'm here." You stood up. Dash smiled as she walked over.

"You okay?" You nod, which permit her to jog to the actual commotion.

Seeing that the dock would be closed off yet again, you picked up the minerals that you wanted to keep and would ask Gloriosa or Timber if that was possible, when they were free, of course. Timber was helping the three students while Gloriosa was nowhere in sight.

"Are you okay?" Sunset and Twilight had made their way over to the dock as well.

"Yeah," Sandalwood affirmed. "It was so weird. We were stuck in the middle of the lake with no wind, then all of a sudden, bam! The wind picked up, and we were pushed right into the dock." Timber volunteered to walk the three students to the medical center for a brief checkup, namely to make sure no one was concussed or had a broken bone.

Pinkie Pie gasped. "You don't think it was the spirit, do you?!"

Twilight walked off, whispering, "No, It was me..."

did you make another device or something   —You seemed to be the only one who heard her. Following her with your eyes, she was retreating into the woods. You left her be, for now anyway. Putting the rocks in your pocket, you joined Dash.

"All our hard work!" she groaned, glancing down when she noticed you, "Just ruined! It barely had a day!"

Fluttershy was optimistic, "At least the fishies are eating well." There was some purple powder on the surface of the water.

"Let's salvage what we can out of the water!" Sunset urged. "Maybe we can still fix this."

"We have to try! Camp Everfree needs a runway!"

"Dock," Applejack corrected Rarity. "Camp Everfree needs a dock."

"Dock, yes... That's what I meant..."

You squat down and grabbed the pieces of wood floating closer to (what was left of) the dock. However, not much time passed before Celestia told everyone that this was not the students' problem and that it was time for the next activity: rock climbing.
