Madeline's POV:

"Madeline!" Esme shook me awake. Tears was streaming down her face, and I jumped up at that and looked around for danger.
"M-my water broke an-and Leander is still on the tr-trip!" She cried and I stood. I yelled for guards and they came and carried her.

"Sin! Sin! It's an emergency!" I yelled through the mind links.

"You and Esme are panicking, why?! What happened?! Is someone attacking?!" He panicked as well.

"Esme's water broke! Get here quick!" I yelled

The guys have taken a trip to King Tacitus kingdom for three days. They needed help with the fighting and they've been making deals. Sin made Leander go because they were all needed, Leander is friends with someone they needed. They said he could pursue them better.

I'm sure it's a woman.

Esme is too.

"He's out fucking a bitch while I'm about to give birth to his baby!" Esme yelled as a guard was on the link with Leander. I opened a link for us all.

"I'm not fucking some- baby, I will be there. Sin is going to run me. It'll cut off a few hours." Leander explained and I helped Esme into the water bath.

Yes, she's doing home birth. I prepared everything and Mona helped while yawing. She then threw up and told us she was fine to help still.

I was trying to sleep as Esme was calming down. Wolf contractions aren't the same as human contractions. They aren't that bad, it hurts worse to deliver the baby.

Also meaning a little slower delivery than normal.

We watched a movie on the projector as all three of us were waiting for anything. Esme was naked with a little shirt on, and Mona had the baby basket on the floor and I had the baby tub.

We were going to do this fast and quick.

After two hours Esme fell asleep and I started to drift off when she woke up screaming. The bathroom door busted open the next second and Leander and Sin ran in, Then Leon.

"Yay! Birth-

"Get out." She told Leon and he walked right back out. Leander took over and held her hand. I stood and hugged Sin. He kissed the top of my head and hugged me.

"I missed you." I whispered.

"I missed you more, wife." He whispered and kissed my cheek.

Esme screamed and I broke away.

"N-no! I-I want the meds! Th-this hurt, I change my mind!" Esme screamed, and her body started pushing while Leander tried to give her comforting words.
"Shut the fuck up before I shove the umbilical cord down your throat! Do not tell me to calm down!" Esme yelled and I laughed.

Leander looked scared and so did his wolf.

"Y-you did this-

"...I don't want to do home birth anymore." Mona said and Esme yelled at her. I nodded.

"Me neither." I said and she gave me a high five. Sin rubbed my back then moved me. He squatted and touched her stomach. Leander growled and apologized. He's protective over his pup already. I smiled. Esme sighed in relief and Sin winced before letting go.

"Hell no that hurts-

"You were taking that pain away!" Esme yelled and I was shocked. "Some of it, yeah, you're my pack." He said, and she gave him puppy dog eyes and Leander begged him. Sin sighed and asked me for permission which I nodded to.
