"This is all your fault Rintarou"Shirabu's Pov
The next day, I slumped in my English class, my face buried in my hands, feeling utterly dejected. Akaashi, ever perceptive, walked over and took the seat next to me. He could sense that something was wrong and asked me about it
I let out a heavy sigh and reminded him of the events from the previous day. Akaashi's response caught me off guard as he simply said, "Oh yeah, I totally forgot all that happened." I looked up at him incredulously, feeling frustrated. How could he forget something so embarrassing?
Feeling angry, I muttered under my breath, "I'm going to kill Suna." Akaashi couldn't help but laugh at my motives. He reassured me, saying "Everything will be alright. Semi and Kai probably just ignored the message"
I leaned back in my chair and explained "I shouldn't have come to school today. The thought of facing everyone after the embarrassing incident was too much to bear"
Akaashi, the voice of reason, pulled out a book and handed it to me, encouraging me to focus on class for the time being
With a heavy sigh, I reluctantly pulled out my own book, trying my best to redirect my attention to the lesson at hand. Deep down, though, the lingering embarrassment and anxiety continued to weigh on my mind
English class came to an end, and fatigue had already settled in for me. I packed my iPad and books into the bag when Akaashi nudged me gently. Looking up, I followed the direction of Akaashi's raised eyebrows and turned around to see a blonde boy standing there.
At first, I didn't recognize the boy, but then it dawned on me that it was the quiet kid who always sat at the front of the class. This blonde boy, with his shy and reserved nature, had been the one consistent presence in the classroom, making it a bit more bearable by reducing the noise level.
The blonde boy spoke up, his voice soft, "There's someone waiting for you outside." I glanced at Akaashi, who merely shrugged in response. Offering a quick word of thanks to the boy, I got up from my seat, curious, and headed towards the door.
As I stepped outside, I found Semi standing there, his presence catching me off guard. "Kenjirou," Semi called out, his voice carrying different emotions. My heart skipped a beat, and I quickly rushed back to his seat, unsure of what to make of the unexpected encounter
Akaashi looked at me, his confusion was showing on his face. I sat back down in my seat, eyes wide open, and faced Akaashi. I blurted out, "Fucking Eita Semi was outside." I repeated it, this time louder, emphasizing my embarrassment.
Akaashi turned his gaze towards the door, where he could faintly hear someone talking. A look of realization flashed across his face
I urged Akaashi to go check if Semi was still there, my voice filled with anxiety. Akaashi let out a sigh, understanding the mess of a situation, and reluctantly got up to investigate. As he stepped outside, he stopped, I think when he realized that Semi was indeed waiting.
Semi asked if I could come and talk to him. Akaashi shook his head and replied, "Not now. He's not ready." Semi let out a sigh, seemingly disappointed, and told Akaashi to relay the message to me, asking me to talk to him later. Akaashi nodded in acknowledgement and returned to my side.
I, who had lifted my head momentarily, let it fall back onto the table upon hearing the conversation. Akaashi looked at me and said, matter-of-factly, "You probably won't be able to escape this situation" Akaashi shook his head "You will have to face both Semi and Kai" I glared at Akaashi and retorted, "I thought they would ignore it."
Akaashi let out an awkward laugh, realizing the severity of this situation. He reminded me of his earlier intention to "kill" Suna, our initial source of trouble, emphasizing the need for caution and resolution in facing the consequences ahead.
I let out a small laugh and stood up, motioning my head toward the door
As I walked alongside Akaashi to our next class, my mind filled with thoughts. It occurred to me that Suna and Kenma didn't attend the same college as us, so the next time I would see Suna would be in a few days. That meant I had to contain my anger until then, which I knew wouldn't be an easy task
The mere thought of encountering Semi in various places infuriated me. It would be a constant reminder of the embarrassing incident and the complicated feelings I had tried to suppress
On the other hand, Kai's reduced presence at school due to his preparations for going abroad made it feel somewhat easy to avoid him
I sighed inwardly, realizing that I had to find a way to fix this disaster somehow, even if I got my heart broken
As we reached our classroom, I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for the challenges that lay ahead.
What did Semi want to talk about I wonder?
