I knew that there was no going back and I was happy with that
Third Person Pov
Shirabu and Semi sat side by side on the couch at Shirabu's house, both in their own worlds on their phones.
The television was on, but Keisha, who had been watching, turned it off and got up, heading upstairs, prompting Semi to notice her leave
As the TV screen went dark, Semi turned to Shirabu, his lips finding the side of Shirabu's cheek in a gentle kiss. However, Shirabu seemed unfazed by the gesture, his attention still fixed on his phone.
Semi trailed his kisses from Shirabu's cheek to his shoulder, where the fabric of his white t-shirt covered his skin
Shirabu's irritation was palpable as he finally spoke up, "You need to stop doing that. What if Keisha walks in?"
Semi leaned back slightly with confusion "It's been a week. Why haven't you told her about us?"
Shirabu's gaze remained fixed on his phone, his fingers still scrolling through the screen. "If Keisha finds out, she'll probably blab to my friends, and I'm not ready to deal with their nosiness right now."
Semi shifted closer again, his lips finding their way back to Shirabu's shoulder. This time, he tugged at the collar of Shirabu's t-shirt, pressing kisses against his skin
Shirabu made a half-hearted attempt to push him away, but Semi caught his hand and brought it to his lips, planting a gentle kiss on his palm.
As if sensing Shirabu's growing resignation, Semi took advantage of the situation. He wrapped his arm around Shirabu's shoulders, pulling him into a warm embrace. "You know," Semi mused, "if Keisha does walk in, you might just have to deal with the consequences."
Shirabu let out a sigh of annoyance "If she does, I swear I'll murder you, Semi."
Semi only shrugged, his lips curving into a grin. He settled into the embrace, his cheek resting on top of Shirabu's head, his fingers intertwining with Shirabu's.
Despite his initial protests, Shirabu found himself allowing the moment to linger.
He held onto Semi's hand that was wrapped around him, his lips pressing a soft, lingering kiss onto Semi's knuckles.
Semi playfully tousled Shirabu's hair, his fingers combing through the strands with exaggerated frustration. "Your hair is so flat, seriously, where's the volume?"
Shirabu shot back a mock glare, his fingers automatically moving to adjust Semi's hair. "And what's up with your hair? It's like you dipped it in some yellowish-grey paint. You're giving off grandpa vibes."
Semi's lips twitched into a smirk. "At least I don't sport crooked bangs that look like they're having a mid-life crisis."
"Well, at least I don't have to resort to dying the ends of my hair in a futile attempt to look edgy," Shirabu retorted, raising an eyebrow.
"Admit it, you're just secretly jealous of my hair game," Semi chuckled, leaning back.
Shirabu tilted his head, an amusing grin on his lips. "Oh, really? Jealous of what? Ageing at twice the normal rate?"
Semi's smirk only widened. "My hair ages so fast because of all the stress you put me through. You're the root cause, literally."
Their playful banter was interrupted by the entrance of Keisha, who rolled her eyes at the ongoing teasing. "Why are you two bickering again?"
Shirabu and Semi exchanged quick glances, their hands immediately retreating from each other's hair as if caught in the act.
Semi smiled, his teasing still evident in his eyes. "We're just discussing the finer points of hair care and maintenance."
"Right, hair care," Keisha said sceptically, giving them both a concerned look. "Well, just keep it civil. I don't want to walk in on you two pulling each other's hair out."
Shirabu's face flushed a light shade of pink at the implication, and he cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. "We're not going to do anything like that."
Keisha chuckled, shaking her head. "Sure, whatever you say. Just try not to destroy each other while I'm gone."
"Yes, we'll keep that in mind" Semi replied
Semi turned back to Shirabu with a grin. "You know, maybe I should help you style your hair properly." He whispered
"I don't need your help," Shirabu replied defensively, even as a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
Semi reached over, ruffling Shirabu's hair playfully. "Are you sure? Because it's definitely in need of some attention."
Shirabu swatted Semi's hand away, his smile growing more genuine. "No fuck off"
Semi's grin widened. "Fuck you"
"There's no point in trying" Keisha sighed, grabbing her phone before leaving the two alone
Once she was out of sight, Shirabu let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. He looked at Semi and found laughter dancing in his eyes.
"Grandpa vibes, huh?" Semi chuckled.
"Hey, at least I don't need hair dye to pull off my look," Shirabu quipped.
Semi rolled his eyes playfully. "Alright, you win this round." He said letting out a quiet yawn, his eyelids feeling heavier than ever.
"Giving up so easily?" Shirabu's raised an eyebrow
"I'm just too tired for this right now," Semi replied with a faint smile, resting his head on Shirabu's shoulder
"Did you not get enough sleep last night?" Shirabu's tone held a hint of concern as he looked down at Semi.
Semi shook his head lightly. "Nah, I was busy working on some lyrics for an upcoming performance. Time just slipped away."
"Guess I can't really scold you for staying up too late then," Shirabu chuckled softly. "But you always tell me not to stay awake for too long."
Semi let out another yawn, a small grin forming. "Well, that's because you have a tendency to push yourself too hard. Doctor-in-training, remember? You should be setting an example."
"True," Shirabu admitted, his smile lingering. "But I'm not a doctor yet, and I still have so much to learn."
Semi's voice took on a teasing tone. "And don't think I forgot about those late-night study sessions that nearly cost you your eyesight."
Shirabu couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, I get your point. I'll try to take it easy." His hand holding onto Semi's
Semi's grip tightened slightly on Shirabu's hand, their fingers interlacing. "Good. Just promise me you won't turn into a book-obsessed zombie."
Shirabu's smile softened. "I promise. Besides, you know I have other priorities to look after."
Semi shifted his position, looking up at Shirabu with a half-lidded gaze. "You know, I don't mind staying like this for a while."
Shirabu considered it for a moment. "If you're tired, maybe you should rest. Do you want to lie down on my bed? It's more comfortable."
Semi shook his head, nuzzling his head into the crook of Shirabu's neck. "I want to stay just like this. It's cosy."
A gentle smile curved on Shirabu's lips as he glanced down at Semi. "Alright then."
As the soft afternoon light filtered through the window, casting a warm glow around them, Semi let his eyes flutter closed
With Shirabu's hand softly stroking through Semi's hair, they found comfort in the quiet moment
