"Don't disappear on me, you're cute when you're embarrassed."

Third Person Pov

Shirabu lay on his bed, his gaze fixed on the back of Semi's head as he slept soundly beside him. Semi had stayed over at Shirabu's place for the night, mentioning that he had some things to deal with at home and just needed a break from it all.

His fingers wandered through Semi's hair, a gentle touch that conveyed his affection. He couldn't help but smile as he leaned in to place a soft kiss on Semi's neck, the warmth of the gesture lingering against his skin. However, he decided it was time to wake his slumbering partner.

"Oi, Eita, get up," Shirabu prodded Semi's back, his voice a mix of annoyance and playfulness.

Semi remained still, lost in his dreams. "It's already noon, get up!" Shirabu tried again, this time whispering into Semi's ear, but there was still no response from him.

Not one to be easily deterred, Shirabu continued poking him until Semi finally turned and, with surprising swiftness, pulled Shirabu into a tight embrace.

"What the hell? You need to get up," Shirabu grumbled, his words muffled as he found himself trapped in Semi's grip.

Semi's voice was still drowsy, his eyes barely open. "Let's stay like this for a bit."

Shirabu couldn't help but chuckle at the request. "We've been like this all night," he reminded Semi, but he didn't make any move to disentangle himself.

Semi's grip relaxed just slightly, resting his forehead in the crook of Shirabu's neck as he murmured, "Just a few more minutes."

Shirabu relented, a soft smile tugging at his lips. "Fine." He settled back, letting his chin sit on top of Semi's head. The embrace was comforting, and the world outside seemed to fade away as they shared a quiet moment together.

Time Skip

"I'm going out now," Keisha said as she slipped on her shoes, her plans set on a shopping spree with her friends. This meant that Shirabu and Semi were about to have some alone time at home

"Don't spend too much of my money, or I will kill you," Shirabu's voice called from the kitchen

"Looks like you might have to prepare for a murder," she shot back with a smirk before shutting the front door behind her

"Ugh, I'm going to have to start work soon," Shirabu groaned as he leaned against the kitchen counter. He had taken a few months off work to focus on his studies, but it seemed that the time had come to get back into the grind

While he didn't necessarily need to work due to his uncle's financial support, he felt a sense of responsibility that pushed him to contribute.

Their family had planned to move to Tokyo after the passing of their parents to live with his uncle, but Shirabu's attachment to their hometown in Miyagi had made it difficult for him to let go. As a result, they stayed put.

"If you need it, I can loan you some money," Semi's voice floated in from the dining area. He was sitting at the table, his elbows propped up, his chin resting in his hand.

"No need for that. We're not broke. It's just that she spends money on the most ridiculous things," Shirabu replied, rolling his eyes, frustrated by his sister's extravagant shopping habits.

"Anyway, we're out of groceries. How about we go out for brunch and then stock up on some food?" Shirabu suggested, shifting his attention to Semi

"Sounds good. I can help you with the shopping," Semi responded, a smile on his lips
