"I don't want you to worry alone."

Third Person Pov

Shirabu sat at his desk, poring over the notes he had diligently taken in class. The mounting exams and the pressure weighed on him heavily, and he could feel the exhaustion setting in.

Removing his reading glasses, he leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling for a brief moment, trying to clear his mind. Rubbing his eyes, he attempted to shake off the drowsiness that was threatening to pull him under when his phone suddenly began to ring.

Glancing at the phone, he saw an unfamiliar number on the screen. With a hint of suspicion, Shirabu answered, "Hello?"

A voice on the other end spoke, "Hello, is this Shirabu?"

Shirabu hesitated but replied, "Yes, it is. Who is this?"

The voice belonged to a woman. "Shirabu, you need to listen to me," she started, getting straight to the point. "I'll be blunt; I'm Eita's mother, and I need you to end your relationship with him."

Shirabu was puzzled. He couldn't comprehend what he was hearing. "Excuse me?" he responded in disbelief, not understanding the woman's demand.

The woman continued in a more hostile tone, "You don't need to pretend. I know about the relationship between you and my son, and I need you to break up with him."

Shirabu was taken aback. "You can't just call me and tell me to break up with Eita. That's not how it works."

The lady sighed and continued, "He needs a woman by his side in the business world. If you truly care about his future and well-being, then you need to break up with him."

Frustration welled up in Shirabu. "I'm not breaking up with him. I care about him, and I believe I know what's best for Eita."

The lady persisted, "Shirabu, I strongly urge you to do it, and do it quickly."

The boy's patience reached its limits, and he abruptly ended the call. Placing his phone on the desk, he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Reached for his water bottle. he took a sip, feeling the need to cool down.

The phone began to ring once more. Annoyed by the persistent calls, Shirabu decided to block the number and mute his phone.

He then lay down on his bed, needing rest, especially after the disconcerting conversation with Semi's mother.

Lying on his bed and gazing at the ceiling, he contemplated the call. Should he tell Semi about it, or should he simply ignore it to spare him any additional burden? He didn't want to cause Eita any more distress, so he kept the unsettling call to himself.

Shirabu closed his eyes, gradually succumbing to slumber, hoping to forget about the call for a bit
