Shirabu's PovHe stares at me for a moment before speaking up "Do you want to be my fake boyfriend?"
In the midst of my confusion, Semi straightened himself up and repeated his question, "Do you want to be my fake boyfriend?"
I couldn't help but burst into laughter, feeling disbelief. I placed my hand on my chest, trying to calm my racing heart. "You're joking. You're joking right?" I needed confirmation, fixing my gaze back on Semi
To my surprise, he shook his head, indicating that he was serious. I took a step back, my eyes scanning Semi as if trying to decipher his intentions.
Semi began to speak with a confident voice "It would be a win-win situation, with Kai thinking you are off the market and other girls assuming I was gay"
I raised an eyebrow, pointing out "But you aren't actually gay"
Semi shrugged and replied, "Am I not?"
I bit my lower lip, contemplating his proposal. "We're two different types of people, with you being so popular while I simply blended into the background"
I expressed my doubts, stating that nobody would believe such a charade. Nervously, I started fiddling with my fingers, feeling the weight of the decision ahead.
Semi placed a hand on my shoulder, causing me to jump slightly. He reassured me, saying "It will be alright and we've fooled people before" He even winked, triggering a memory from our high school days that I quickly tried to suppress
Reacting instinctively, I covered Semi's mouth with my hand, reminding him "I thought I told you not to mention that day!" Semi playfully bit my hand and smirked, making me retract it and rub it in annoyance
I firmly stated "I'm not doing this." turning to walk away. However, Semi called after me, urging me "Think about it Kenjirou. Let him know" He claimed that it would benefit us both. Rolling my eyes, I continued heading inside the school, trying to push his proposition out of my mind for the time being
I was done with class and decided not to wait until the weekend to see Suna. I dragged Akaashi with me, even though he warned me that Suna might not be done with class yet. I didn't care
Akaashi had a spare key, so we could just sit and wait for him like we had done many times before. Akaashi opened the door, and there was no sound. Suna lived alone, so we often gathered at his place
There was a time when Kenma was planning to move in with Suna, but that plan fell through when Kenma and Kuroo got together, and Kuroo didn't like the idea
Akaashi made himself at home, sitting down on the couch and turning on the TV
I went into the kitchen, grabbed some snacks, and joined Akaashi
A few minutes passed when we heard the front door open. Two voices entered the house, one belonging to Suna and the other to Kenma. They both walked into the living room, probably because they could hear the TV playing
Kenma waved as he placed his bag on the carpet and grabbed a packet of crisps from the table. Suna followed in and slouched onto the sofa
I cleared my throat, catching Suna's attention. I said, "Suna. What have you done? What the hell have you done?" Suna looked at Akaashi, then back at me, and asked, "What happened?"
I rolled my eyes and said, "Semi came up to me today and asked about the message. I told him it was all in the past."
Kenma raised an eyebrow and continued snacking, asking, "That's all?"
I rubbed my eyes and replied, "I saw Kai behind Semi approaching us, and then..." I paused, feeling a slight hit on my head from Akaashi. He asked, "Then what?"
I hesitated for a second and finally said, "I kissed Semi..." Suna, Akaashi, and Kenma all had different reactions. They asked why I did it, and I explained my reasoning. They wanted to know what happened afterwards. I told them to sit down before revealing, "Semi asked me to be his fake boyfriend, and I said no."
Kenma shook his head in disappointment and asked, "Why didn't you agree? This was your best chance."
I told him, "I don't have feelings for him anymore, why would I?"
Suna raised his eyebrows and asked, "But you kissed him."
I groaned and told him it was just a distraction. Kenma asked why Semi asked in the first place, and I explained, "He said it would make it look like I was dating someone and that other girls would think Semi is gay."
Suna nodded and said it was a good idea. Akaashi looked at me and expressed his concern, saying, "It might not be a good idea because Semi is really popular, and everyone might find out." I agreed with Akaashi, reiterating that I wouldn't date Semi. Kenma tried to persuade me to fake date Semi, but I kept saying no
"You guys are not questioning the gay part?" I look at the three
"I thought he was bisexual at first" Akaashi raised his hand up in front of his chest
"He gives off the vibe" Suna also agrees
I shake my head at them "No he seems straight. What are you on about?"
The three eye each other while sighing
"What? You don't even go to the same school Suna." I remind him
"Yeah, but I know him somehow you know?"
It's a bit concerning that Suna literally knows everyone. It scares me a bit but what can I say? He still plays volleyball and we all used to play volleyball too
Kenma nudges me with his elbow from above "So are you going to acce-"
"No." I bluntly replied
