"I want to stay just like this. It's cosy."

Third Person Pov

Semi had spent a pleasant time with Shirabu, walking through the park and stopping by a cafe. They had taken a small stroll, enjoying each other's company. However, they wouldn't officially label it as a date, because they planned this last minute right after their classes

Now, they stood outside Shirabu's door, the day's sun casting a soft glow around them. Semi leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss on Shirabu's forehead. "I'll see you later, alright?"

"Why don't you stay for a bit?" Shirabu's hand held onto Semi's, his eyes hopeful.

"As much as I'd love to stay with you, I need to head home," Semi replied with a smile

"Alright then," Shirabu said, a smile gracing his lips as well.
"Get back safe" He stepped back and gave Semi a small wave before entering his house.

Semi nodded as he watched Shirabu disappear inside, his heart feeling a strange sense of reluctance

He let out a sigh and continued walking along the street, his fingers running through his hair in a distracted gesture. "I don't want to go home," he mumbled to himself.

As Semi approached his own house, he stopped for a moment, taking a deep breath before unlocking the door

The silence of the house enveloped him as he stepped inside, his footsteps echoing in the empty space

Shutting the door behind him, he kicked off his shoes and moved into the dining room. His parents sat there, eating quietly. Semi greeted them with a slight bow. "Hello, mother, father."

It was like winter in the household, tension building up by the minute

"Eita, come sit and eat with us," his father invited.

"I already ate," Semi replied. "I was out with my friends."

His mother's expression turned displeased as she looked up from her food. "Where were you this morning? I told you specifically to be home when we got back from the airport," she scolded, her fork still in her hand.

"I had an early class, I couldn't miss it," Semi explained, his stance by the door frame showing his hesitation

"How are your grades?" His father's question followed.

"They're the same as usual," Semi sighed.

"Good, at least you not failing" his mother mumbled, her attention back on her meal.

Semi asked for permission to leave, and his father granted it. Just as Semi was about to exit the room, his father's voice stopped him. "Eita, I hope you're not using excuses to keep playing your guitar. Remember, you can only continue if you also practice the piano."

Semi turned slightly to respond, "I do practice, father. Don't worry."

Walking away from the dining room, Semi made his way to his room. He collapsed onto his bed, groaning in frustration. The expectations placed on him weighed heavily.

He looked up at the ceiling remembering the day had with Shirabu, it was the only thing that kept him sane

As Shirabu entered his house, he sat down on the couch and leaned his head back against the backrest

His mind replayed the enjoyable moments he had just spent with Semi during their mini walk in the park and their cafe visit

He chuckled to himself as he remembered their argument about coffee with or without milk.
