"Goodnight, my Kohai."

Third Person Pov

Semi let out a deep sigh as he unlocked the door to his old home. It had been a few days since he had last been here, purposely avoiding his parents. However, he needed to gather his remaining belongings in order to fully move out.

As he stepped inside, the familiar coldness and silence greeted him, just as he had left it. But as soon as he closed the door, a voice called out from the other side, "Eita, is that you?"

He turned his gaze to see his mother emerging from a room. "Eita," she said, rushing towards him and placing her hand on his arm. "Oh, my dear, You're back! I want to apologize. Please listen-"

Another voice followed, "Eita?" It was his father, who had also come out.

"I'm sorry, truly sorry. I didn't think things through, and I never expected things to turn out like this. I've made a terrible mistake," his mother's tears began to flow as she leaned her forehead against his chest.

"Mother..." Semi started but couldn't find the words to continue.

"Eita, we're both sorry," his father spoke up, though he didn't reach out to touch him.

"I can't forgive you," Semi said firmly.

"Please, son," his father pleaded, gripping onto his arm. "We just want you to be happy. We want you to come back home. I promise I won't do anything to you or to Shirabu. Please, give us a chance."

His mother lifted her head, her eyes red and swollen from crying. "Please, Eita, I miss my son."

"I hate you both so much," Semi broke down, his voice filled with pain. "I hate you for doing this to me."

Confusion filled his mother's eyes as she wrapped her arm around him.

"I'm not coming back home. I'm staying with Shirabu. Please, give me some time to think about your apology," Semi stepped back, freeing himself from his parents' grasp. Without looking back, he made his way up the stairs, leaving his parents behind.

Semi stepped into his room, fully aware that this might be the final time he set foot in it. He gathered a few more of his belongings, including his cherished guitar and some additional clothes. As he prepared to leave, he couldn't help but cast a longing glance at his childhood bedroom, feeling a pang of nostalgia in his heart.

Descending the stairs, Semi found his mother seated on the lower step, with his father beside her. He manoeuvred around them and opened the door, bidding them farewell with a simple "bye mother, father," before closing it behind him. A deep sigh escaped his lips as he approached his car, his emotions settling into a calm state.

Opening the boot of his car, Semi carefully placed his belongings inside. He then settled into the driver's seat and turned his gaze towards his boyfriend

"Are you alright?" Shirabu asked, a smile gracing his face.

"Yeah... Everything went well," Semi replied, returning the smile.

Ren, who was sitting in the backseat, inquired with a concerned tone, "Are you sure, son?" He was about to depart for Yokohama and required a lift to the train station.

Semi, with a reassuring smile, responded, "Yes, I am absolutely fine."

As he started the car, Semi stole one last glance at his house, knowing that it was time to move on. With determination, he drove off, leaving behind the memories of his past.

As they arrived at the train station, Semi assisted Ren in retrieving his belongings while the two, uncle and nephew engaged in conversation.

"I know I previously mentioned that I would stay, but something urgent has come up," Ren explained.

"No worries, I completely understand that you have important matters to attend to," Shirabu replied with a gentle smile.

"I'll be back in a short while, at least within two days," his uncle clarified. Ren glanced at Semi, who had already taken out all the bags and brought them over. "Thank you, Semi," Ren expressed his gratitude while taking hold of the bags. "Please take care of Kenjirou and Keisha for me," he requested.

"Of course," the teenager nodded in agreement.

Shirabu and Semi bid farewell as Ren departed for his train. The two of them then returned to the car and set off on their journey back home.

"It will just be the two of us at home now when Keisha goes to practice. It will be lovely," Shirabu expressed.

"Well, only for two days," Semi clarified.

"Mmh, yeah."

The drive continued in silence until Shirabu randomly brought up a topic, "Have you ever been to Yokohama before?"

Semi answered, "Yeah, once," unsure why his boyfriend asked him that.

"Have you ever thought about leaving Miyagi?" Shirabu continued.

"No, well sometimes. Why?" Semi asked.

"I'm getting tired of this prefecture. I want to move somewhere new and start fresh," Shirabu's gaze wandered over to the Ash blonde boy.

"That's a big change, you know? Are you sure about it?" Semi explained.

"I don't know... I've never left my home, for as long as I can remember. I'm scared that I'll feel homesick, but I want change," Shirabu admitted.

"If we did move, where would you want to go?" Semi asked.

"Probably Yokohama."

"That's a whole new place. Would you be able to adjust?"

"Only if you're there with me," Shirabu looked back at the road.

"I'll always be with you," Semi glanced at him.

"Then after college? We can buy a nice home in Yokohama and live together," Shirabu planned.

Semi chuckled, "That sounds perfect."

As they got home, Shirabu had a strange feeling when he entered his house. Something felt off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He glanced at Semi, who seemed to share the same uneasiness. Together, they ventured through the dimly lit hallway, only to discover that all the lights in the house were mysteriously turned off.

Semi reached out to flip the light switch, hoping to illuminate the darkness. However, as he switched it on, his friends startled him with a sudden jump scare

"Congratulations!" their friends exclaimed in unison, causing Shirabu and Semi to look around in confusion.

"What's happening?" Shirabu questioned, his eyes scanning the room adorned with decorations.

"It's a party for you two! You finally moved in together," Tendou exclaimed, his excitement palpable.

Shaking his head in disbelief, Semi muttered, "This is so random." Despite his surprise, he couldn't help but appreciate the fact that their friends had gathered to celebrate their new chapter.

Shirabu turned to his sister, suspicion evident in his gaze. "Did you plan all of this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"What? Nooo," she replied sarcastically, earning an eye roll from Kenjirou.

"Alright then, let's get some music going," she said, grabbing her phone and preparing to set the mood for the celebration.
