I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for the challenges that lay ahead

Shirabu's Pov

I found myself outside the campus, successfully avoiding any encounters with Semi for the past two days. It seemed like my plan was working, and even Kai hadn't reached out to me, leading me to believe that perhaps they had all forgotten about the embarrassing incident. It was a relief, and I started to feel a sense of normalcy returning.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, Tendou suddenly appeared and startled me. I scolded him, telling him to stop doing that, but he couldn't contain his laughter at my reaction. Despite my annoyance, I couldn't help but crack a small smile at his antics.

Tendou then asked if I was coming to their performance next week. I immediately declined, citing what had happened as the reason for my decision. Confusion flashed across Tendou's face as he asked, "What happened?" I, too, was puzzled because I assumed that Semi would have already informed Tendou about everything.

Choosing to play it cool, I simply replied, "Nothing," and shrugged it off. However, Tendou's curiosity got the better of him, and he continued questioning me about what had transpired. Irritated, I told him to shut up, hoping to put an end to the inquiries. But Tendou persisted, undeterred by my dismissive response.

Frustrated, I finally snapped and told him to go ask Semi himself. Maybe then he would finally get the answers he sought

In the midst of our conversation, a voice echoed from behind me. It asked, "Ask Semi what?" My heart skipped a beat as I turned around with Tendou to see Semi standing there. I had definitely jinxed it. Tendou, in his usual energetic manner, asked Semi what had happened. However, Semi shook his head and requested to talk to me alone. Tendou raised an eyebrow but eventually agreed, saying it was alright and leaving us.

I panicked, realizing that I was now alone with Semi. I looked at Tendou, desperately trying to convince him to stay, but he insisted on leaving. My breath became unsteady as I looked down at my feet, feeling anxious. Slowly, I lifted my eyes to meet Semi's gaze.

Without beating around the bush, I asked him directly "Are you going to ask about the message Suna had sent?"

Semi nodded, and I averted my gaze, unable to meet his eyes. "It was all in the past, and those feelings I once had for you are no longer there." Still not facing Semi, I could feel his gaze piercing through me.

Semi spoke, calling my name, "Kenjirou" He paused "Do you really not have any feelings for me anymore?" He asks

I felt a warmth creeping onto my cheeks as I turned my gaze back to the taller boy. I responded, "No, I don't," and urged Semi to forget about the message. As I looked beyond Semi, I noticed a familiar figure walking towards us. Without a moment's hesitation, I pulled Semi into a kiss.

The kiss lasted only a few seconds, and as we moved back, we gazed at each other in astonishment. Semi seemed speechless, unable to comprehend what had just happened. He questioned, "What just happened?"

I pushed my hair back and tried to explain to him "You weren't the only one who had received a message- Kai had received one too" I confessed that when I saw Kai approaching, I didn't know what to do, so I kissed Semi to prevent Kai from reaching us. Semi stared at me with a blank expression, clearly overwhelmed by the unexpected turn of events

"Sorry" I mumbled

He snaps back to reality and shakes his head "It's alright"

I turn back around to the school, deciding to go in, when Semi stops me by grabbing my hand

I tilt my head as I look at him

He stares at me for a moment before speaking up "Do you want to be my fake boyfriend?"
