"Curse you Semi!"

Shirabu's POV

I sat in one of the empty classrooms, Semi sitting opposite me

"Okay, listen," I began, my voice direct. "Kai is leaving in a month, which means all this will be over in a month." I pointed at Semi, then at myself, emphasizing the arrangement

Semi smirked at me, his eyes glinting in a bad way. "What if I want it to last longer?" he teased

I narrowed my eyes, refusing to give in to his games. "And why would you want that?" I asked, my tone stubborn

He swayed his hand back and forth, his smirk widening. "Girl problems, you know," he replied, implying that extending our charade would help him in some way

"That's not my problem," I retorted, my voice sharp. "Find someone else."

Semi's gaze intensified as he locked eyes with me. "What if I want you?" he said, his voice holding a hint of challenge

"Too bad," I shot back, trying to conceal the slight tremor in my voice

Semi continued to stare at me, his eyes searching for any sign of wavering. But I held my ground, refusing to let him see my vulnerability

"Oh, and about the kissing thing," I added, trying to redirect the conversation. "Only do it in public, and please try to limit it."

He sighed and looked out the window, feigning disappointment. "Aw, I can't promise that," he replied

I shot him a death stare, my frustration mounting. "You better try," I warned him, the weight of fake dating pressing down on me

As I looked at him, Semi's features softened for a moment before his usual cockiness returned. This whole fake dating situation was a mistake. I shouldn't have agreed to this, but now I had to go through with this relationship until Kai leaves

Semi turned back to face me, a determined look on his face. "I've agreed to all of your terms. Now it's your turn to agree to mine," he stated firmly

I let out a sigh, feeling kind of anxious. "Alright," I muttered, nodding reluctantly

Semi grinned, clearly pleased with himself. "First, you need to come to every one of my performances," he declared

My eyes widened in surprise. "Every?" I repeated, my voice filled with disbelief

He nodded emphatically. "Yes, every. What kind of boyfriend wouldn't want to watch their lover perform?" he teased me

I hesitated for a moment, unsure about the idea. "Fine," I finally agreed, still uncertain about what I was getting myself into. "Any other conditions?"

Semi's grin widened. "Oh, plenty," he replied. "Next, you have to go on dates with me."

My eyebrows shot up. "Dates?" I questioned, surprised by his sudden request

He chuckled, clearly enjoying my reaction. "Of course. Haven't been on one?" he taunted

"I have," I replied defensively, not willing to give him the satisfaction of thinking I was inexperienced

Semi shrugged, "Fine, so after the performance, we'll go on a date," he confirmed, his voice filled with anticipation

I hesitated for a moment before reluctantly agreeing. "Okay," I replied, trying to hide the flutter of nerves in my chest

Semi stood up from his seat, placing his hand on the table as he prepared to leave. "I'll get going then," he said, beginning to turn around

Unable to contain my curiosity any longer, I blurted out, "Why are you doing this?"

Semi paused, looking back at me with a hint of confusion. "What?" he questioned, clearly caught off guard by my sudden question.

"Why did you ask to date me?" I continued, my voice filled with genuine curiosity. "You don't like me."

He shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, yeah. I don't like you," he admitted, his words stinging slightly. "You're literally an annoying little goody two shoes. I still hate you after you took my spot in high school."

I felt a slight guilt, realizing that our history had influenced his decision. "But this will help me," he continued, his tone shifting slightly. "I only have two more years of university left, and I really need to concentrate."

I watched as Semi gave one last wave and walked away, leaving me sitting there, still confused by his reasons for agreeing to all this nonsense

Uncertainty filled my mind as I wondered what lay ahead in the coming month, and whether we could truly do this without getting our history involved
