Shirabu's Pov
As we sat in a circle on the floor, my friends couldn't help but dig into my past, especially my connection with Semi. Kenma's comment sparked the conversation.
"So you've had feelings for Semi for that long??" he asked, sitting up so his back leaned against the couch.
I corrected him, "The feelings didn't develop until 2nd year."
Akaashi chimed in, "I'm sure it started in the first year, definitely."
"This story was supposed to be about Semi's cousin, not him," I tried to steer the topic away.
"Who cares about his cousin? He's a shithead. Let's talk about how you and Semi basically already had experience in fake dating," Suna said with a smirk.
"It was only for a week," I replied, trying to downplay it.
"Semi decided to help you against his cousin by dating you. His own blood. Dude definitely had a thing for you," Akaashi teased.
I sighed, "Even if he did, it was none of my business. He ended up hating me later on anyway." My voice became quieter, my mind replaying the memories of that time.
The conversation shifted towards Mori, and Kenma asked, "So what is going on between Mori and you then?"
"We haven't talked since, and I'm happy about that. I don't want to interact with him at all, so I'm hoping he's just visiting and he'll be out of here soon," I replied. "If Semi really knew me, then he would know what to do."
Just then, Keisha walked into the room, looking intrigued by our conversation. "Ooo, what's going on here? Let me in," she said, taking a seat on the edge of the couch.
"Nothing much, just talking about Shirabu's miserable love life," Suna said smiling at me
"Omg, with Semi, right? You guys are so cute together," Keisha said, excitedly joining the conversation.
"Keisha, go have a shower; you just got back from practice," I told her, trying to change the topic.
"I'll be back," she said before walking off.
"I remember extra practice" Kenma groaned "That shit used to wear me out"
Akaashi began to tease him, "Well, you were Nekoma's setter"
"You think I had a choice?" Kenma rolled his eyes
Suna redirected the conversation back to Semi, "So back to the Semi thing. What is it like having him as a boyfriend?"
"Not that different, except for the kissing part," I replied, my cheeks warming slightly.
"Is he a good kisser?" Kenma asked.
I didn't say anything, not because I was embarrassed, but because Semi always caught me off guard with his sudden kisses.
"Shirabu~ hello," Kenma waved his hand in front of me.
"I think he's thinking about kissing Semi," Akaashi remarked with a playful grin.
"He's fine," I said abruptly, not wanting to delve into the topic.
"That's all? Fine?" Suna teased.
"Well, I never actually thought about it, so..." I said, trailing off.
Kenma took charge of the conversation, "So our next mission is for Shirabu to make the first move."
"Why am I making a move?" I protested.
"Because you can't always let Semi take the lead," Suna replied.
"What the f---" I started to say before the door knocked.
We all turned to look at me, and I hesitantly stood up to open the door. To my surprise, it was Semi.
"Semi?" I said loudly to let my friends know who was there.
"Hey, I know this is a bit sudden and random, but I bought these," Semi said, handing me a bag.
I looked inside to find two boxes of doughnuts. "It's doughnuts. I was out today and remembered that Keisha said she wanted to try these doughnuts during breakfast, so I bought her some... And for you too," he explained in a soft tone.
I smiled at him and replied, "Thank you. Wait a second, let me call her."
I walked over to the stairs and called for Keisha. She came down halfway and saw Semi at the door. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I bought you some doughnuts," Semi pointed at the bag in my hand.
"You remembered? Oh my god! Thank you so much!" Keisha walked down the stairs.
"Will it be awkward if I hug you?" she asked Semi.
Semi slowly shook his head. "Why would it be?."
"True, and you're basically my brother-in-law," she said, giving Semi a small hug before thanking him again.
I passed her the bag as she walked over to the kitchen.
Semi looked past me, and I followed his gaze to see my friends' heads popping out from the door frame.
"You've got company. I'll be going now anyway," Semi smiled.
"Oh, it's fine. You can stay," I said.
"I got to go. I just came to drop these off. I hope you enjoy it," Semi said.
"Yeah, thank you," I said quietly.
I waved him goodbye as he left for his car.
I shut the door and saw my friends with weird smirks on their faces.
"Literally the perfect boyfriend for you. He cares about your sister, he cares about you, and he doesn't make things awkward for you," Kenma said, still teasing.
"Oh, shut up," I waved them off. "Let's go have some doughnuts."
As soon as I said that, all three of them stood up and followed me to the kitchen.
We all grabbed a doughnut and began to eat.
"Please carry on dating Semi!" Keisha said to me.
"Yes, please do," Akaashi added.
I let out a small chuckle, at their reaction
