"It's a long, embarrassing story."

Third Person

Three days had passed since Shirabu received the first call from Semi's parents. Despite his attempts to block their numbers, the persistent calls continued, finding a way to reach him through different digits. It was an ongoing intrusion that he couldn't escape.

The urge to tell Semi about it lingered, but circumstances never seemed right. With Semi's uncle in town, their usual hangouts became less frequent. It was a bit amusing to Shirabu that Semi was cautious about making a bad impression. According to his uncle, Semi was a sweet and intelligent young man, a fact that Shirabu found both amusing and endearing. However, Semi remained unconvinced by Shirabu's assurances.

While school provided opportunities to see Semi, Shirabu felt it was not the right place to discuss the situation. The weight of the unspoken truth pressed on him, and he decided that today was the day to finally share it with Semi. Yet, fear lingered, a fear that unveiling this truth might ruin their relationship

Semi's Home

Semi sat in his room scrolling through his Instagram feed. The apprehension of facing Shirabu's uncle still lingered, deterring him from visiting despite him really wanting to see his boyfriend.

As Semi continued to mull over the awkward encounter with Ren, a sudden knock disrupted his thoughts. The door swung open, revealing his parents entering together, an unusual occurrence. They typically call him downstairs if they want to talk.
Semi sat up, confused, shifting his gaze between his concerned mother and stern-faced father as they closed the door.

"What happened?" Semi inquired, a hint of worry colouring his tone.

His mother, taking a seat on Eita's bed, wore a troubled expression. His father stood by the wall, radiating anger.

Mrs. Semi sighed deeply before speaking, "I want you to break up with him."

Semi placed his phone down, brows furrowing. "What are you talking about?"

"Shirabu Kenjirou. I want you to break up with him," his mother's voice turned stern.

Eita's eyes moved to his father, whose usual cold gaze now bore a hint of disgust."Mother..." His voice softened.

"Eita, please, do it for us, for our family, for your future," Mrs. Semi pleaded, her pain evident.

"You know I can't... I love him," he tried to persuade her, but the plea fell on deaf ears.

His father interjected angrily, "Eita, I want you to break up with him today! No excuses, no discussions! Break up with him, and we will talk to Navi's parents about the wedding arrangements, or else I will force him away from you!" He stormed out of the room.

Semi's breath grew harsh, chest tight as if he couldn't breathe. He looked back at his mom with sorrow in his eyes. "Mother, please."

She stood up, shaking her head. "Eita, do what's right," she said before following her husband out.

Semi leaned back on his headboard, mind racing with thoughts. What was he going to do? How did his parents find out? He was afraid for his relationship and mostly for Shirabu.

Grabbing his keys and phone, Semi left the house, slamming the door behind him. He drove without direction, not ready to face Shirabu and explain what happened.Instead, he found himself at Navi's penthouse, a place where he had sought solace before.

As he knocked on her door, his heart raced, a painful sensation engulfing him.Navi opened the door, her expression shifting from confusion to concern. "What happened to you? You look like shit."

Semi entered her home, turning to face Navi, who seemed puzzled by his unannounced arrival."Nav, you said I could come to you anytime, right?" Eita clarified.

"Yeah? What's up?" She asked, closing the door behind her.

Frustration and fear emanated from Semi as he explained the situation at his house. "My parents found out that me and Shirabu are dating, and now they are forcing me to break up with him. I'm scared they'll do something to him."

Navi, grabbing Semi's shoulders, pulled him onto the couch. "You need to calm down and breathe."

"How can I? Who knows what they would do to him?" Semi's anger was palpable. "I don't want him to get hurt. I don't want to break up with him. I just want to be by his side."

Navi encouraged him, "Eita, you seriously should go speak to him. Your relationship won't last if you don't communicate. I know Shirabu is equally concerned for you as you are for him."

Semi took a deep breath, locking eyes with Navi. "You're right; I should tell him. Maybe then we could do something about it"

"See, you've got it. All you needed to do is think about it for a bit," she smiled.

"Do you mind if I stay over tonight? I'm not ready to go talk to Kenjirou yet, and I don't want to go back home," Semi asked.

"Yeah, of course. There's a guest room that is in perfect condition for you, probably. Who knows?" Navi said, standing up.

"Thanks, Nav," Semi exhaled the breath he had been holding.
