I watched as Semi gave one last wave and walked away, leaving me sitting there, still confusedShirabu's POV
As I stood in the crowd, panting from the rush to make it to Semi's concert, I couldn't help but wonder why I let Akaashi drag me here
But before I could dwell on my thoughts, I noticed Semi scanning the audience from the stage, trying to spot me
I waved my hand frantically, hoping he'd notice. And then, his eyes locked with mine, and a smile spread across his face
I felt my cheeks heat up, and a strange fluttering sensation washed over me. Damn, why did he have to look so good up there?
Semi then walked back and said something to his band mates and they all moved towards the crowd
One of the members with a mic started introducing their songs but I wasn't really interested. Something else kept my eyes occupied
Lost in the moment, I failed to notice Akaashi elbowing me until he pointed his eyes up at the stage
I followed his gaze and saw Semi still watching me, strumming the electric guitar with an intensity that drew me in
He smiled like a dork which made me chuckle a little
It had been so long since I last saw him play, and he had definitely grown into an incredible guitarist
The way he moved, the passion in his eyes—it was breathtaking. My cheeks flushed even more, and I couldn't tear my gaze away which was so annoying
Just as I was caught in that embarrassing moment, Tendou appeared out of nowhere, his mischievous smirk in full bloom. "Falling in love with Semisemi again?" he teased, knowing exactly how to get under my skin.
I shook my head, trying to deny the truth. "What? No. He told me to come and watch," I explained, hoping my words would convince both Tendou and myself
Tendou's smirk only grew wider. "Don't worry, Shirabu. I give you guys my official consent to date," he said, his words dripping with sarcasm
My eyes widened in surprise and embarrassment. "What are you talking about?" I sighed, feeling my face grow hotter by the second
The music continued to fill the air as they played a couple more songs. My attention shifted back to Semi's performance.
Once the concert was over, Semi hurried down the stairs, scanning the crowd for us. As soon as his eyes found mine, he made his way towards us. "How was I?" he asked, his gaze only on me
I rolled my eyes, not wanting to show just how impressed I was. "The same as ever," I replied, trying to hide the effect his performance had on me
Semi's smile widened, and he chuckled softly. "Hey, at least you remember coming to my performances in high school," he said
Tendou, suddenly appeared by our side, placing a hand on Semi's shoulder and exclaiming, "That was freaking amazing!"
Semi turned to Tendou, gratitude evident in his eyes. "Thanks, Satori," he said
"This calls for a celebration! Drinks on me!" Tendou suggested, his enthusiasm rising
I was about to decline, reminding them of my many exams that are coming up, but before I could say a word, Semi interrupted, "Actually, I can't. Shirabu and I are going on a date."
Tendou's interest was piqued at the mention of a date. "A date? Well, fine then. I'll let you off this time," he said with a playful wink, clearly curious about our relationship.
Semi took hold of my hand and pulled me away from the bustling crowd. Confusion filled my mind as we hurried through the halls. "Wait, where are you taking me?" I looked over at Akaashi, who was still lingering in the crowd
"I'll call you later, Shirabu!" Akaashi shouted back, his voice drowned out by the noise of the excited concertgoers.
Finally, Semi led me into a quiet hallway away from the commotion. I crossed my arms and looked at him with annoyance. "You didn't have to make it that obvious," I scolded, trying to hide the blush that threatened to give away my true feelings
Semi smirked, "Well, I had to let everyone know you're my boyfriend now, didn't I?" he teased, his words causing my heart to race
I narrowed my eyes, clearly irritated, But deep down, I couldn't deny the fluttering excitement that Semi's words stirred within me.
I need to stop, those feelings are not real. This is all fake. I'm starting to get all delulu
I glanced away, my gaze landing on the doors leading outside. "So, where are we going?" I asked, my voice tinged with genuine curiosity.
"Hapina Nakakecho?" He raised his shoulders
"Hapina Nakakecho?" I echoed
Semi explained his random idea "Yeah. To be honest, it's getting late and I can't take you anywhere fun and I want to save our restaurant night for a better day. So I thought why not a mini shopping spree"
I paused for a moment then nodded "Alright then, but I need to change out of these clothes first"
"Bet"
