"This won't be a great show," Compress sighed as Dabi hastily walked towards the study of their boss. They had all been summoned to discuss Chise's capture. AFO wanted her back, she was worth more than what he led on apparently.

He burst through the door to see the large man waiting patiently, "I know-"

"I bet you do," he spat, "You knew this would happen..."

"Now Dabi, I wouldn't go assuming things if I were you."

"Listen here you mother-"

"Know you're place," AFOs voice was low and threatening, "or do I need to remind you?" Dabi quieted down, "Now, I assume they are going to transport her soon. Once we find out details, we will go from there."

"I assume you're talking about Hawks...how did he not know about this?"

"That is a great question. I hope you will ask him for us."

The corner of Dabis mouth twitched with a smirk, "Oh I will."

Chise sat up in the bed and ran a hand through her hair quietly. They had forced her to change from her warm clothing, to a pair of white scrubs. The quirk suppressing cuffs were still on her person as she studied them closer. The blonde hero Present Mic sat in a chair on the other side of the room, watching her quietly.

A dark haired man entered the room, eyeing her before he motioned for Present Mic to get up, taking his place. Chise watched them for a moment before resting her back against the wall.

"They're going to move you in a few hours," his tired voice filled the quiet room.

"Okay," Chise's voice was quiet. "Will they drug me then, too?"

"I'm not sure," he watched her, tilting his head, "do you need anything?"

She blinked, "N-no, but thank you...I appreciate it."

"I'm not going to treat you like a criminal."

"Not even for throwing your friend around?"

He smirked, "Nope."

She smiled slightly, "He's an asshole."

"I'm all too familiar with that." He watched Chise pull her knees to her chest, "Are you scared?"

"Not for me," her voice was soft, "I...I just miss the way things used to be."

"With your bar?"

"With my brother, and yes," she sighed, "the bar also."

"What will you do when all of this is over?"

"If I survive..." she looked at him, "I'm not sure."

"You could always train to be a sidekick. You have a strong quirk."

"...I could never...not after....." she trailed off, "I'm sorry. I just...I don't think all heroes are bad, but I couldn't work in the field with them."

"That's understandable." He stood and walked up to her, "I promise we aren't the bad guys...some of us may have skewed ideals and views, and of course...some bad eggs, but there are a lot of genuine good ones."

"I think you're a good egg," she smirked briefly before her eyes moved to the door, her smile fading and her body language shifting to defense.

The man shifted his eyes to see the doctors standing outside of the door talking. He placed a warm hand on her shoulder, "I'll see what's going on."
________
Hawks landed on the roof, mentally preparing for the fight he knew Dabi would bring. He hadn't been made aware of their plan to capture Chise, but he would be paying the price for it.

He felt movement behind him and spun around, face to face with Dabi. A sigh left him, "I know..."

"I bet you fuckin do," heat came off of his skin in waves, "So I suggest you start talking, now."

He swallowed, not wanting a fight, "I wasn't made aware of their plans, but, luckily I've been put on the detail. In a few hours, they'll leave the hospital and head towards maximum..." he shifted, adjusting his wings against his back, "They aren't incarcerating her, just keeping her out of your hands."

He scoffed, "They can try..."

"Why do you need her?"

"You've seen what she can do," he spat.

The blonde tilted his head, "Is that all?"

"Yes."

"Nobody likes a liar," his eyes narrowed, "Especially given our circumstances." Dabi debated his answer. Hawks flashed a brilliant smile, "That's what I thought...your secrets safe with me," he pulled out his phone, reading a text, "They're going to move her in two hours, black SUVs. I'll send you more when I get there..." he walked to the edge of the building, "I need to make sure there isn't a decoy."

Dabi watched the winged hero take off a long breath leaving him. She would be back, and soon. It really bothered him not having access to her. Why? He wasn't sure yet. He turned and headed to the others, who were surprisingly worried about their missing link.

"I'll burn it all down..."
______
The doctor wiped her arm with an alcohol pad, "Okay, you'll feel a small pinch." Chise stared at the floor. The man named Erasure had attempted to tell them it wasn't necessary, but, Endeavor insisted. Her head began spinning, making her take in a sharp breath. The doctor braced her, "It's alright," she laid her back against the bed, "It'll settle in about ten minutes. You'll just feel very tired."

Chise stared at the ceiling quietly as everyone outside prepared for their journey. A familiar face leaned over her with the most annoying grin, "Happy to see me?"

"Hawks...why are you here?"

He leaned down, checking the straps on the bed, speaking softly, "To get you out of here, silly."

She rolled her eyes, "You and what army?"

He scoffed with a smirk, "You already know. Did they dose you?"

"Yeah, twice," she motioned to her hand, "I don't know how to work these."

"We can worry about those later. Just hang tight, we can figure the rest out from there."

She closed her eyes, hearing him leave. Her body felt numb, like she hadn't slept in days. Would Dabi be there? Did he even notice or care? Probably not...you're not exactly being useful right now...
