// Thank you all for reading this story! I DO have a sequel, but, I've hesitated posting it. If you'd like a sequel, let me know! 'Till the next one!!//

Her legs had never moved so fast in her life. She lost two important people in her life over this mess, she was done losing anyone else.

The black fitted tshirt she wore clung to her, her light faded jeans felt sticky against her skin. The city was in shambles, the smells of smoke and dust hit her lungs, making her cough. She slid to a stop and let out a long breath, "Put. Him. Down."

AFO, now in his prime looked her over, "My dear Chise. You've returned to me."

Hawks grunted as he fell to the ground. Chise tilted her head, "I'm afraid you are mistaken...you've taken so much from me."

"I have given you so much more," he stalked towards her.

"No, you used Overhaul to kill my brother, framing a hero...you used that to fuel me into becoming something I have no desire to be. Then Dabi...." She swallowed, "he deserved better...I am tired of you taking, and taking."

"Chise I have given you the chance to hold the greatest power," her gaze stopped him about five feet away. His eyes were soft looking at her, "You could have been the greatest catalyst in all of this..."

"You've given me the chance to become your worst nightmare," the air around them grew thick, "This is madness...you're only in it for All Might, but you used hurt kids to do your work for you...I will not be another one."

"Then you will die."

He moved ungodly fast, but luckily she was ready when her eyes locked with his. She would break him, letting her rage fuel her, even if it was the last thing she did. I need to get as close as I can... she slid to a stop.

He grabbed her arm, twisting it as she grunted in pain. All for One took this moment to spin her around, bringing them face to face, "I wanted you for myself."

"No," she panted through her pain, "you want my power. That's all you ever saw."

Her pupils dilated, blacking out her eyes. He jumped away from her before his body froze. It felt like fire was moving through his veins as he struggled to stand. "You little bitch..." blood seeped from his lips as he grit his teeth, "Go right ahead, when that wall breaks, you're all dead."

She had to make a choice. Either use herself up with him, or focus on holding the wall until more help arrived. Fuck it, why not both?

She let out a deep breath as her hands outstretched. One was aimed at AFO, the other, the wall. Cracks that were forming, began to halt. She closed her eyes and concentrated on her next phase, her body was already feeling heavy.

Hawks forced himself to sit up, "You're so in trouble."

Chise smiled slightly, "Shhhh I'm working."

He spit blood with a grin and tapped the comm in his ear, "I kinda need backup over here...like now."

AFO pushed against her as hard as he could. Sweat began to run across her forehead. Hawks stumbled over to her, the bloodied sword in his hand, "How long can you handle this?"

"It doesn't matter," her eyes snapped to AFO, forcing him to his knees, "I'm trying something new..."

"I need to know what before they get here."

"I'm trying to get in his head, and block the other quirks, taking away his regeneration," a small trickle of blood slowly seeped from her nose, "How's the kid?"

"Alive," his golden eyes landed on the unconscious UA student that he had come to care for. His eyes could see her beginning to weaken, "Chise, you gotta dig deeper."

She closed her eyes, knowing he was right. She needed to get mad. All it took was a flash of the screen, Dabis burning body, the relief on the reporters face...fuck all of them. AFO sat on his knees, "You won't kill me, Chise. You don't have it in you."

"They're close," Hawks was in her ear, "Keep going."

"Haru would be so disappointed in you."

His words unlocked a new level of rage as she bared down on him more. He groaned in pain and smiled. Blood trickled from her eyes as her vision began to fade. She refused to go down in such a way. AFO had to be stopped at all costs.

He made a push against her once more, causing blood to fill her mouth. He was so incredibly strong, to be able to move under the full extent of her quirk. She only hoped what she was aiming to do was a success, and that no one else would die because of him.

"Chise," a strong voice sounded in her ear, "We can take it from here."

She let go, falling to her knees as blood spilled from her mouth. Her vision was still dark, but she could hear the battle as she faded to black, the only thing on her mind: The warm voice of the Devil.

"Chise."

The noises were so loud, she felt her body vibrate. From the commotion, it sounded as though she was in the hospital. A slight panic fell over her when she tried to open her eyes. A gentle hand stopped her, "It's okay, you're safe..."

"Sookie, where am I, what's going on?"

"You're at the hospital," her hand grasped Chise's, "It's over."

"Hawks."

"He's is rough shape...very rough shape. But he's out of the woods now. So is Tokoyami."

A breath of relief left her. They had kept their promises to Dabi. She hoped he would be happy to know they both survived this horrid ordeal. "So...it's over..."

"Yes, it's finally over Chise. You can rest now."

"What about Dabi..."

"His family is holding a burial in his honor today. You've been out for about a week now."

She wanted to rage and cry, but she knew it wouldn't bring him back. A deep, cold sadness washed over her. It settled in, the fact she would never hear his voice again, see his smug smirk, witty remarks. She would never hold him in her arms or feel his lips connect with hers. Chise would never forgive them, for what they did to him. But, out of spite, she would pick up the pieces, like she promised him, and move forward....whatever that held.
