The next few days had been so incredibly calm. Dabi stayed with her, resting and recovering. They watched shitty TV, spent time lazily on the couch while she worked on her sketch, doing things almost like a normal couple. It was...nice. Maybe in another life, they would have this.
The currently laid on the couch, Chise's back was against his chest as she carefully added details to her sketch. His blue eyes watched quietly. Truth be told, he would watch her for hours. It was fascinating, how talented she was.
His phone lit up, making him sigh into her neck before reaching and opening it. Chise rested her head back against him and closed her eyes, waiting on the words to leave him.
"Four days," he tossed it on the coffee table, wrapping his arm back around her stomach, "I have to leave then."
"So you get to be a bum for four more days," she teased, earning a soft tightening of his arms, "I'll take it."
He buried into her hair, "Good."
Chise set her sketchbook aside and curled against him, closing her eyes. They spent a lot of time in unsaid conversation. Small touches or movements said things that words never would. The calmness that spread between them hadn't been present in the year and a half they had known one another.
Chise had buried her face into his neck, drifting into slumber. Dabi had noticed she was getting more restless in her sleep, not getting but a few solid hours at night. He let her sleep on him as often as she wanted.
His eyes shot to the door handle as it moved. Hawks carefully shut the door behind him, locking it, "Ah, I never took you for a cuddler."
"You never asked," Dabi relaxed back against the arm of the couch, "Well?"
"It's all in place," he pulled his jacket from his shoulders, "Endeavor will be all yours."
Dabis eye caught Hawks busted bottom lip, making him tilt his head, "Who did that?"
He grinned, "No one in your circle. It was a cheap shot though." He chuckled, "Relax, they're taken care of."
Dabi rolled his eyes, "Why are you here?"
"To make them think you're not," he plopped down in a chair, looking Chise over, "Not sleeping well?"
"No."
Hawks frowned and sat back, "What a mess this will be."
"It'll be a shit show I'm sure," Dabis eyes shifted to Chise when he felt her move slightly, "I have four days."
"I'll come get her when you leave. She won't be alone long."
"She better not be," he shot Hawks a warning glare before looking away.
"I'm so envious," he teased, "Chise gets you all to herself."
"Jealousy looks good on you," Dabi smirked when Hawks' cheeks flushed, "You get enough attention."
"You're such a dick," Hawks pouted.
"Come here," Dabi softly commanded. Hawks sighed and walked over to him, "Sit."
He blinked and sat in the floor, next to the couch. Dabi's strong arm reached and pulled him back. Hawks closed his eyes and leaned his head against a sleeping Chise. Dabi's hand rested on his chest. They were all quiet, Chise breathing softly. Hawks was fighting off sleep. Dabi was quietly sitting in their comfort. The two closest people to him.

Chise's green eyes opened slowly, settling on the blonde hair next to her face. He was breathing softly, resting against Dabis arm that hung over him. Dabi was breathing deeply, his arm securely around her.It finally dawned on her. Their relationship. At one time, had they been together? It was obvious that they were close, Dabi tolerated him more than he would if they were merely business partners. It also explained the loyalty Hawks portrayed. He was putting himself on the line to keep a promise.
She was sure this was hard for him too. Knowing Dabi was going to sacrifice himself to enact his revenge. Her hand reached out and softly pet his wild strands. His hair was surprisingly soft. She smirked as he leaned into her hand, shifting in his sleep.
"He's like a giant dog," came Dabis sleepy voice.
"I think he's having a hard time with this as well," Chise replied quietly.
"I know," he sighed, "Come on, we might as well go to sleep."
"What about him," she slowly sat up and stretched.
Dabi roughly poked his face, "Get up, let's go to bed."
Hawks blinked and yawned, sleepily getting to his feet. Chise smirked, "Are you tired?"
He nodded and ruffled his hair, "Yeah."
Dabi bumped him, "Go on before I change my mind." Hawks huffed and stalked off towards the bedroom. His blue eyes settled on Chise as she put a glass in the sink, "Chise, I can make him sleep in here-"
"Dabi," she turned to look at him, leaning on the counter, "It's fine."
He stalked up to her. Much a like predator would his prey. His lips connected to hers in a heavy kiss as his hands cupped her face. He nipped her lip as he pulled away, "You're too good."
Chise chuckled and moved from his grasp, "You said differently the other night."
Dabi grinned as she rounded the corner. She was so witty, it kept him on his toes. He walked to the bedroom door to see Chise scolding Hawks.
"You can't take up the whole ass bed."
Hawks grinned, "I can."
"Then you can go to the couch," she huffed, "don't be a brat."
"Chise," Hawks whined, "don't be so mean to me. Besides I'm a good cuddle buddy I promise."
"Hawks," Dabi leaned on the doorway, "suck it up."
Hawks quietened down and scooted over so she could crawl into the bed. She laid back against the cool sheets, feeling oddly relaxed between the two men.
Dabi wrapped his arm around her, pulling her back against him so she could face Hawks. He wanted her to feel secure with this change. Hawks laid facing her, being sure not to get into her space. He had taken a pair of sweat pants to sleep in.
She soon began to feel her eyes growing heavy as Dabi softly played with her hair.
