Her body felt stiff and heavy as her green eyes slowly opened. The afternoon sun was laying warming rays on her body, it felt nice. She slowly sat up and took in her surroundings in the room. It was still the same as when she finally found slumber. Dabis jacket was gone, meaning he was out on a job.

She stood slowly and stretched her body when a knock sounded on the door. She spun around to see one of AFOs house keepers, "Miss Chise," the woman bowed her head, "I'm glad you're awake. Would you like something to eat?"

"Um, sure, thank you," she hugged her elbows as the woman left. "Still a prisoner it seems..."
_______
She ate and showered before being summoned to the familiar office. The last thing in her closet was a black, fitted sweater dress. Maybe she needed to get more clothing. AFO sat in his chair, patiently waiting, "Chise, how are you feeling?"

She sat down, "Like shit."

"You've been asleep for some time. Im glad to see you're awake." His massive form would never cease to make her feel small, "I wanted to praise you and thank you once more for your hard work. We have a key player to our cause, I'm in your debt."

"Good," she crossed her arms, "Im in need of a few things if I have to stay here."

"Speaking on that," he leaned forward, making her want to sink back into the cushions, "I've decided to let you go back to the apartment."

She blinked, "How thoughtful....what's the catch?"

He chuckled, "That you come whenever I call."

"That's it?"

"That's it." He stood and walked around the desk, "I want someone as important as you to feel comfortable and safe." He walked to the door, "But if you disobey me..." he opened it, "I'll become upset."

She took a breath and stood, "Then we have an agreement."
_______
Chise opened the door, not bothering to flip on the lights as she locked it behind her. She let out a long breath of comfort as she felt her body finally relax. She wished he was here with her, but, knowing he could drop in comforted her.

She walked into the bedroom, letting the moonlight lead her. Her body still felt tired and overworked. The slightest movement caused her to spin around, face to face with the once winged hero. She pressed her body back against the wall, "What the fuck, Hawks?"

"I was waiting," he carefully looked her over, "Did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"The prison," he stalked forward.

Chise swallowed, "It doesn't matter...why are you here?"

He was so close they were almost touching, "Chise, you're going to end up dead if you don't stop. I can't turn a blind eye to things like this..."

"Yes you can," her pupils dilated threateningly.

"No, I can't," he studied her eyes, "Even if you use your quirk on me, it doesn't change what's happened." He leaned on the wall, "Multiple villains escaped...people died..."

Chise looked away from him, "I didn't have a choice."

"If you want out, Chise," he lifted her chin, "I'll get you out."

"I don't know what out is," she felt a pang of guilt in her chest knowing people had died. People who had families at home, sleeping soundly.

Hawks had a look in his stunning eyes. Was it pity? Anger? Betrayal? She wasn't sure. He placed a soft, lingering kiss on her cheek, "I made a promise, don't make me regret it."

"What promise," she furrowed her brows. This entire situation was overwhelming and confusing.

"I promised him I'd take care of you," he softly pet her hair, tucking it behind her ear, "No matter what happens between he and I, he made me promise to keep an eye on you..." he leaned into her ear, "Give you everything you need."

Goosebumps ran up her spine, "I don't think he meant in that way..."

A boyish chuckle sounded from him as he pushed off of the wall, "You'd be surprised." He walked to the door, "I'm serious Chise," he looked back at her, "I can't keep looking away at big losses."

She watched him leave before taking a deep, calming breath. He was always so carefree and playful, but tonight, he was dark...and intimidating.

Chise brushed it off and continued on with her night.
_______
He almost had tunnel vision as he moved through the dark and quiet apartment. He needed to set eyes on her. To touch her. To feel her.

He shed his jacket as he walked into the quiet bedroom, looking down at her resting form. He smirked seeing she was once more wearing one of his shirts. It was hot.

Her eyes snapped open when she felt him leaning over her. Their lips met in a series of heated kisses, his warm hands moving the blankets from her body that were obstructing his access.

Her hands wound under his shirt, pulling it from his person before connecting their lips once more. He settled between her legs as a hand drug up her bare thigh, earning a soft moan when his hips ground against hers.

The shirt she wore was pulled from her person, her eyes closing as his mouth hungrily settled on her breast. Before she knew it, he thrust himself into her, wasting no time before moving deeply. Chise moaned into his mouth and arched her back, warning a soft groan as a reward.

He moved harder a hand softly gripping her hip while the other wound into her hair. Chise moved her hips against him. Sex with him had always been good, but, this time it felt intense. Everything felt enhanced and heightened.

Dabis lips softly met hers as he paused, "Chise."

"Yes," she met his blue eyes.

"Make me a promise."

"Anything," their lips met again.

"No matter what happens from here on out," he kissed her again, "You'll live." Her brow furrowed slightly. His hand lightly traced her cheek, "Things are about to come to a head. I just need you to promise me."

There was a softness she had never seen before. He was serious, genuine. Care. That's what it was. He was genuinely caring for her life. "I promise," she wound a hand into his hair, "Dabi I promise I will."

"Thank you," he leaned down and captured her lips in a passionate kiss, his hips continuing their slow, deep movements. They moaned into each others mouths before he buried his face into her neck.

Her moans turned to desperate whimpers as she moved against him, hitting her climax. With another deep thrust, he poured into her, his hand gripping he waist while the other gripped her messy waves.

His hand gently wiped her hair from her face as they caught their breath. After a moment, he gave her a soft kiss and laid his head on her chest. Chise wrapped her arms around him protectively, draping them on his back as he relaxed. A wave of sadness washed over her, dreading the things to come.
