She wasn't sure why she said yes. Maybe it was because he could die tomorrow, maybe she had some sort of feelings for him, maybe it was because she wanted to feel something, anything other than the sadness, and maybe he did too.

He was different than Dabi when it came to this. His lips were soft, delicate on her skin. Instead of grasping at her, his hands took their time, learning every curve carefully. She laid against his golden sheets as his lips melted into hers once more.

He didn't want to rush, not wanting her to get the wrong idea. Of course he'd wanted her, but he didn't want to take advantage of her. This was a privilege. He was well aware of that. With not knowing what tomorrow held, he just wanted the chance.

He pulled her top from her, immediately placing his lips along her collarbone. Chise leaned her head back and closed her eyes, her hands softly traced against his bare back, sending goosebumps up his spine. A soft moan escaped her as his mouth settled on her breast. The sadness was taken over by the pleasure in his gentle touches.

His hand ran up her bare hip, memorizing the way it curved as their lips met once more, "Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?"

She felt her face heat up at the tone of his voice, "N-no. I haven't really thought about it."

His golden eyes took their time studying her, "You really are. Tattoos and all, they suit you."

She smiled softly, "Thank you."

"No," he leaned down to her lips, "thank you."

His lips met hers in heated kisses, Chise wrapped her hands around his shoulders, a groan escaping her lips as he nestled inside of her. He felt devilishly good as he rolled his hips into hers. It was different than what she was used to, but, it was damn good.

She was perfect in every way. Her soft moans sounded almost angelic as they hit his ears. He nuzzled against her cheek, "You're perfect."

Her nails drug across his shoulder, causing him to let out a shaky breath. Their lips met against as they moved faster against one another. He moaned into their kiss as his hands wound into her hair. Chise whimpered softly, feeling herself tighten.

They both fought for their breath as he rested his forehead against hers. Chise softly rested her hands at the back of his neck as their lips met again, "Hawks."

"Hm," he rested his elbows on either side of her head.

"Come back," she looked at him.

He studied her flushed cheeks, her lips, her long lashes and stunning green eyes. His hand pet her hair softly, "I will do my very best."

He leaned down and kissed her softly, he meant it, he'd do his best. She pet his wild hair as his laid his head on her chest. His eyes grew heavy as he fought off sleep. She closed her eyes, "Sleep. It's fine."
________
He woke at dawn, his mind was whirling with strategies and scenarios. It often did before he made big moves. Chise as asleep beside him, breathing softly, his eyes looked her over. She was so pretty, and looked so peaceful against his pillow. If anything was keeping him going right now, it was her.

He leaned over and kissed her cheek, "Chise."

Her green eyes opened, "Hm?"

He smirked, she was cute when she was sleepy, "I have to get up soon." He wrapped an arm around her, "You'll be fine way out here. But, I do have someone coming shortly, just incase."

She sleepily snuggled against his chest, "Who?"

"My manager. Her name is Sookie. She has a detailed list of instructions."

She buried into his neck and breathed deeply, "What if I say no?"

His hands wound up her body, "Be a good girl Chise." He grinned at her blush, "She's nice. She puts up with me."

"She must have the patience of a god."

He chuckled and released her, getting up, "She does." He grabbed his clothing for a shower, "I wanted to make sure she was safe from all of this, too."

"What a big heart you have," she smiled when he blushed. "Don't play shy now."

He winked, "Wouldn't be me."

Sookie was a cute woman with short brown hair and hazel eyes. Hawks teased her about keeping up with her paperwork, smirking when she frantically rambled about pulling all of their files yesterday from the agency. This poor woman.

"You need to treat her better," Chise scolded as they walked the rooftop.

He chuckled like a boy, "I do my best. She's just so easy to rile up."

"Hawks, last night-"

"I know," he stopped and looked at her.

"You know what?"

"That we kinda just used it, to forget for a minute."

"Yeah," she chuckled, "but I was going to say it was nice."

He scoffed with a smile, "Make sure to leave a google review."

"Four or five stars," she teased.

"Um, five," he put his hands on his hips, "Unless it was less than that."

"Don't get all defensive," she laughed, "It was definitely a five."

"It was worth it," he placed a kiss on her forehead, "Stay safe today."

"I will," she tiptoed and kissed his cheek, "Beat some ass."
____________
Chise and Sookie sat glued to the TV. So much was happening so fast, it was chaos. Citizens were being evacuated to UA, the heroes were dropping like flies. Dabi was well into getting his revenge. Endeavors frantic face, his fearful family. She felt so many emotions at this point, she almost felt numb.

"Dabi please," tears fell softly to the floor, "please."

Sookie's heart broke for her. Hawks had kept her in the loop, telling of how they had worked to keep her out of AFO's grasp. The only comfort she could offer was softly rubbing the other woman's back.

The young hero Shoto had appeared, Dabis youngest sibling, helping aid in preventing a full blast from Dabi. The cameras refused to show the damage, cutting back to other reporters. Deep down she knew, in that moment he was taking his final breaths. She hoped somewhere in his memories, she was there, curled up with him, tangled in the cool sheets. She hoped it was painless, and that he felt relief in showing the world who he really was. Who his father really was.

The reporter listened carefully before letting out a breath of relief, "The super villain known as Dabi, has been eradicated."

The air left her lungs as she swallowed. The cameras cut back to another scene, making her gasp. Hawks was at AFO's mercy. She moved before she could think, hearing Sookie calling after her.
