Chise carefully walked through the long hallways. While he said she wasn't a prisoner, the guards watched her like a hawk. Rounding a corner, she came face to face with none other than Shigaraki. They blinked at one another before she spoke, "Sorry."
She made a move to pass him, but his icy, stern grip held her in place, "Where have you been?"
"Around," she kept her voice down, matching his tone.
He scoffed before slamming her against the wall, "That's what I hear. Dabis little whore."
"Jealousy makes you ugly," Chise smirked at matched his gaze evenly, "Do you want to be in his bed instead?"
"Watch it," he was so close, their bodies were almost touching, "I won't hesitate to end you."
"We both know you can't do that," she leaned into his ear, "Just like we both know you can't steal my quirk..." her hand rested softly on his cheek, "So keep talking shit...see what happens."
"Shigaraki, I wouldn't play to close to the fire," came the amused tone of Compress, "You wouldn't want to get burned." Chise watched as he huffed down the hallway. Compress bowed his head slightly, "It's good to see you safe."
She smiled warmly, "Thank you. I'm happy to see you've managed to make it this far."
"Chise!" Toga wrapped her arms around the woman, "I've missed you!"
"Hello Toga," she pet the blonde girls hair, "Have you been okay?"
The blonde nodded, "Lonely, but I'm okay."
"I suppose we should head to the meeting," Compress motioned the way.
Chise sat at the table, her green eyes studying the map before her. The prison was vast and large, but their target was crucial. Shigaraki impatiently tapped his fingers on the desk, his other hand scratching his neck.
AFO opened the door, walking himself, and Dabi into the room, "I hope you weren't waiting long."
Shigaraki opened his mouth, but Chise cut him off, "Not at all."
A smirk landed on Dabis lips seeing Shigaraki sulk. Compress placed his hat on the table, "So, what's the plan?"
"We need to get our target out," AFO sat at the head of the table, folding his hands in front of him, "I normally do not call meetings here, but our biggest contributor will remain here for the time being."
Dabi and Chise shared a silent look at one another before she spoke, "I'll be your eyes as you navigate. I will tell you where to go, what to do, and how to do it."
"I'm not taking orders from you," Shigaraki spat.
"I'm disappointed," AFO looked at the pale man, "Do you not want to succeed?" The silence was his answer, "Chise's quirk is truly extraordinary. She will be able to remote view, telling us where he is located."
"So we go in, get him out, and scram," Dabi leaned on the table, looking at the map, "We'll need distractions."
"I will be giving you a handful to work with," AFO looked to Toga, "As well as letting someone have free reign." She giggled excitedly, making him chuckle, "We will meet back here tomorrow night."
The league grumbled their responses, almost sounding like moody teenagers, and made their exit. Dabi lingered for a moment, walking over and leaning on the back of her chair, "Is this safe?"
"Yes," she looked back at him, "It's going to be taxing, but I can manage as long as everyone behaves."
AFO chuckled and stood, "I assure you, they will do as instructed." He walked to the door, "Dabi, come see me when you're finished here."
As soon as the door clicked shut she was spun around and met with a deep kiss. Chise wrapped her arms around his shoulders as their lips met once more. His blue eyes bore into hers, "I don't like this."
"I know," she sighed, "I don't either. Right now it's the smart move."
"Do you have your own room?"
She knew what he was hinting at and rolled her eyes, "Yes, and bathroom. My meals are brought to me three times a day."
He sighed, "Keep your guard up, and don't get to cocky."
"Those words coming from you are amusing," she smirked, "You missed mine and Shigarakis spat earlier."
"He's a fucking moron." He stood upright and looked around the room carefully, "How does this remote viewing thing work."
Chise relaxed into her chair, "Since I have the map in front of me, I can hone in on its location, using my quirk to project myself there. Well, my eyes."
Her quirk really was fascinating. But, it also posed as a threat to her safety with AFO around. He leaned down into her ear, speaking lowly, "Be careful what you say. I wouldn't be surprised if the bastard had cameras."
She softly ran a hand up his arm, to his shoulder, "I've already cut three."
He wanted nothing more than to lay her back on this table. Claim her lips. Feel her beneath him. Hear her soft breaths. He needed her almost like he needed air. For someone like him, this was frustrating. But when she looked at him, it all melted.
Dabi kissed her temple, "Come on. I'll walk you back."
She stood and walked to the door, "Be careful when you meet with him. He's been gauging us."
His warm hands rested on her hips, "Because he knows what this is capable of."
She stepped out into the hallway to see the usual guards gone. "Huh, my shadows aren't here."
"Probably because I'm here," he moved past her, "Right or left?"
"Left." She began heading down the long hallways, "I've finally mapped this confusing ass place out. It's huge."
"I've only ever been in the office or meeting room. Even then, it's few and far between."
"I'm only allowed in part of it," she sighed, "He has league members coming and going through the other half."
"Chise," he stopped, "Stay away from them."
Chise stopped and looked back at him, "I had no intentions of paying them a visit...but why?"
"The less people around here know about you, the better. Villains get greedy."
She eyed him, an amused look settled on her features, "You would know all about that." He smirked as she continued down the hallways.
She stopped at a large, dark wooden door, "This is me."
Dabi leaned down and kissed her softly, something he was doing a lot of lately. "Remember what I said."
She nodded, "Yes. Remember what I said." She smiled when he smirked. "I'll see you tomorrow."
He nodded and waited until she was inside her room before spinning around, heading back around the corner. "If you're going to trail someone, be good at it."
Shigaraki scoffed, "I just wanted to see if the rumor was true."
Dabi took a dangerous step forward, his voice low, "And it is. So I'd suggest keeping to yourself, and away from her."
"Or what?"
"If you think using her to get under my skin will work for you, you've clearly been blind this entire time...but I won't hesitate to educate you."
"I have no intention of hurting your precious pet," he grinned darkly, "I'm weighing options for when all of this is over...her quirk would produce-"
A swift right hook shut him up. Blazing blue eyes flared down at him as the other stumbled back, "Don't let it cross your mind. I'll fucking kill you next time." He ground his teeth, "Stay away from her."
He moved past the other villain and down the hallway, towards AFOs office. It seems as though their ring leader had gotten in Shigarakis head. He would need to act fast to stop it. With a long breath, he opened the office door and stepped through.
