Chapter 4

Mari's POV

"Bye honey. See you later". "Bye Mommy". I watched as Lexi ran up the steps of her daycare. Looking at the clock, I noticed it was almost 11 o'clock. Crap. We start recording in a half an hour. I rushed to the office without speeding. I made it there with seconds to spare. Running into the building, I knew that I would be late. The elevator slowly crept up to our floor. I finally reached the right floor. I almost ran into someone on my way out. "Oh sorry. I'm kinda in a rush". "Oh it's ok. I know the feeling". The voice sounded familiar. I turn around and there standing in front of me is the one and only Markipiler. "Oh hey. I thought I recognised the voice". "Yeah I just got done recording with the Smosh Games crew". "Oh those guys. Yeah they can be a handful. Sorry I got to go. I'm kinda late". "Alright. See you around". We finished talking, and I immediately ran towards the office. I slammed the door on my way in. "And there is the entrance of the year" David said. "Shut up. You try dropping off a kid at a daycare that's almost an hour away". "Been there. Done that. Oh did you see a special someone on your way in". "Who Mark? Yeah I ran into him on my way out if the elevator".

Matt's POV

"Hey. I heard a door slam, is everything ok". "Hey honey. Yeah I just got here and I didn't want to be late". "Oh ok. I'll drop Lexi off at daycare tomorrow ok". "Ok love you sweetie. Lets film Maricraft". We record for about three hours, until the daycare calls Mari about Lexi. "Yeah sure. I'll be there in a half an hour. Matt can you come with me". "Yeah sure. Why"? She mouths 'tell you later'. "Ok see you guys later. Can you guys edit the video"! "Yeah. See you guys later" Wes said. We get into the car and I break the silence. "Why are we rushing out of the office"? "I don't know. Well I do, but they were really obscure about it. Something about Lexi".
