Mari's POV

Lexi and Matt came home 20 minutes after Matt left. Lexi walked in with the biggest smile on her face. "I take it school was good". "School was great. I got my math test back". "Cool let's see it". She pulled the packet out of her backpack and handed it to me. It had a big fat A on it. "Lexi! That's awesome". She ran over to me and gave me a hug. "This calls for a special dinner". Lexi started jumping up and down. When I say special dinner, I mean pizza. "We'll order some in a couple hours". Lexi grabbed her backpack and ran down the hall to her room. "Movie date tonight" Matt asked. "Yeah".

Ian's POV

"Anthony! Why were you doing that". I came home to Anthony and Lizzie, with a messy kitchen behind them. Lizzie had ran upstairs to her room, leaving us to argue. "We were doing stuff for a science project". I rolled my eyes. When they say 'science project', it means big messes, and cleaning that would last for days. "You get the couch tonight. And Lizzie! You're grounded".

Lexi's POV

While we were eating dinner, I talked about my day. "So Lexi, besides the awesome math test score, what else was awesome about today" Mom asked. "I got picked to sing the solo in our school concert". "Really? That's awesome. I wonder where you got that trait from" Dad said. "Wasn't one of us" Mom pointed out. I laughed because I've seen the singing videos on the channel. "Anything else". I shook my head. I don't want to tell them about Drew yet. Mom would be extremely happy, while Dad would probably do a background check on him. "Alright. You done sweetie". I nodded and went to the kitchen to put my plate in the dishwasher. "I'm going to my room. I might fall asleep, so I guess this is goodnight". I went over and kissed them goodnight.

Matt's POV

After Lexi went to her room, Mari and I finished cleaning up. Afterwards, we picked out a movie for our movie date. "How about the Fault in Our Stars" Mari suggested. The first time we watched it, we both left the theater in tears. "Alright. Grab the tissues". I pulled out our copy of the movie and put it in. Halfway through, I looked down at Mari. She looked up at me. "Why are you staring at me". "Because you're beautiful". She laid her head down on my shoulder and started to fall asleep. "I love you Mari". "I love you more". "I love you times infinity".
