Chapter 20

Flitz's POV

I walked out to my office and put Lexi in Wes's chair. I set up some Minecraft for her and went back to editing. "Where's Uncle Wes". I spun my chair around. "What? Didn't Mom and Dad tell you were he is". "Yeah, but I don't believe anything they told me". "I'll be right back. You stay here". I got up, kissed her forehead, and walked towards the Smosh Games office. Luckily, they hadn't started recording. "Matt, Mari. Can I talk to you". Mari stood up, tapped Matt on the back of his head, and walked towards me. "What's up". "What did you tell Lexi about Wes". "I told her that he was out visiting family. Why". "She doesn't believe what you told her". Matt looked at Mari who looked like she wanted to cry. "Well. We can't keep this from her". Matt grabbed her hand and walked towards where Lexi was. "Lexi sweetie. Can we talk to you".

Matt's POV

"Lexi sweetie. Can we talk to you". She spun in Wes's chair. "We want to tell you were Wes really is". I looked over at Mari, who was on the verge of tears. "Remember a couple days ago, when you were in the hospital". She nodded and stared at her. "Wes was driving back from seeing you and he got into a really bad car accident". Lexi looked like she was going to cry. But she was trying to be strong. "He's in the hospital, recovering and he's going to be there for a while". Then the tears came. She ran over to me and started crying into my shoulder. Mari then came over and hugged her from behind. I tried to calm her down. "Shh. It's ok. Do you want to go see him later". She nodded and looked up at me with wet eyes. I wiped away the tears and put her down on her chair. "We're going to go record. We'll see you in a few minutes". We recorded enough footage, we cleaned up and grabbed our things. "Come on Lex. Lets get going". She shut down the computer, tucked the chair in, and ran out to meet us.
