Mari's POV
"Lexi. Time for dinner. Matt you too". I heard little pitter patter along the floor. Lexi came barreling down the hall with Lucky trailing behind her. It's been 4 years since Matt and I got married, and Life has been wonderful. My nightmares were replaced by dreams, my scars started to fade away, and Lexi has been a healthy little girl. Matt came into the kitchen. "Hey". He kissed me from behind and hugged me. "Not so tight Matt. You heard what the doctor said". After my surgery, I have had to be really careful. "Sorry sweetie. Lexi come here sweetie". She ran over to Matt and he picked her up and swung her around. "Hey baby girl". Smiling, I went to go set the table. Looking back at the last four years, I have started to realize how grateful I am for surviving my stabbing. While I was lying there, a bright light shown in my vision. When you see that light, you have two options: go towards it and say good bye, or fight it off. While I was thinking, Matt came up from behind me and scared me. "Matthew Sohinki! Why". Lucky then barked, because that's what dogs do. During dinner, we talked about moving. Or really, Matt brought it up. "We need a bigger house. With Lexi and Lucky, we need more space". "No way. It's not happening. We are.really close to the office, we are close to shops and restaurants. We had this argument before. Remember. When you wanted to move into me. Besides, we have enough room". Sometimes I hate that man.
