"Hey dickwads!" you announced as you entered Stan's garage.
"Y/n, does my outfit look alright?" Wendy asked, running up to you after everyone greeted you, "the boys just hummed at me, so I'm not sure."
She was wearing a lilac purple dress that was fitted on the top but flowed out at the waist. She had cute accessories that made the simple dress pop. "It's perfect, but won't you get cold?" you answered
"My jackets over there," she pointed to a maroon jacket draped over a chair. You smiled fondly, knowing it was Stan's. "You look good as well."
"I didn't try very hard, I just threw something on," you laughed. "So are we all carpooling, or what's the deal?" You ask the group, turning away from Wendy.
"We're taking my car, I'm going to be the sober driver," Wendy answers.
You look back at her, "Can your car even fit all of us?"
"We're taking my truck. She's just driving it," Stan answered as he joined your conversation, "You guys ready? We should get the ball rolling."
You looked around the room and saw Kenny pouring shots at the used-to-be-workbench-turned-table. You walked over to him once he finished pouring them all. The group of you all down three shots before you called it good.
With that finished, you all packed yourself in Stan's old truck. In the front, Wendy was in the driver's seat, Stan in front middle, and Cartman in Passenger. In the back, Kyle sat behind Wendy, you were in the middle, and Kenny was behind Cartman. You were squished in, but it wasn't horrible. It also wasn't a long drive.
After a good twenty minutes, you arrived at Tolkien's house. His driveway was already packed, but since it was an insanely long driveway, there was enough room you guy guys to park.
With Stan knocking on the door, Tolkien greeted you all in. You made a beeline towards one of the many fridges he filled with booze. You opened but only grabbed a coke.
"Not drinking?"
You turned around after grabbing a shooter of Jack, "No, I'm mixing." You showed Kyle the shooter before grabbing a cup and mixing the two together.
"Shoulda known."
"Yep, you shoulda," you replied before pushing past him to find someone else to talk to.
That person happened to be Kenny, "whatcha doing ken?"
He looked down at you, "I'm trying to figure out how to make a move without seeming creepy."
"I can't help you with that, sorry," you smiled.
"I don't get how guys always go after you, yet you're a horrible flirt," he groaned, "Speaking of which." He nudged your arm and nodded his head behind you.
You turned around and saw Zach, "Hey, am I interrupting something?"
"No, I was just leaving," Kenny excused himself before leaning down and whispering, "Good luck."
"Hey," you smiled at Zach, "Sorry about the other day."
"It's fine."
He didn't seem to know how to continue the conversation, and neither did you. You both stood there in awkward silence. After a while, you twirled the straw in your drink, looking around the room trying to find an escape.
"You're very pretty," he broke the silence.
"Thanks."
"I was upset, Kyle, was it?" He asked which you nodded, "interrupted us. I wanted to show you my favorite spot by the pond. It's very secluded and romantic."
You smiled and nodded before taking a sip of your drink.
"We can still go," he offered.
"Um, I'm going to refill my drink," you dodged his offer as you left.
You shuffled your way towards the fridge and remixed your drink. You barely were crossing the line of being tipsy. The silence of the mini kitchen calmed you, so you sat there for a bit.
"Enjoying the party, I hope?" You looked up to see Tolkien.
You looked around at the small decorations he set out, "Yeah, it's very nice. It's refreshing to have a party that isn't overly crowded."
He nodded, "I suppose, anyway, where are Craig and Tweek?"
"Oh, you know them. Where one is, the other is, too. And Tweek wouldn't show up dead to a party," you joke.
"True," he laughed. He joked a bit more before leaving to greet the rest of the party.
You stayed for a bit longer, but when you left, you ran straight into Zach again.
"So the pond?" he asked.
"Oh, I don't know, it's dark, and we're at the party already," you deny.
"Come on, don't be lame," he laughs and lightly grabs your forearm.
"Maybe another time?" You awkwardly laugh, trying to shake his hand off.
He laughed as well before firming his grip, "Let's go, I wanna spend some time alone."
"Zach, I don't know. We can just hang out here," you panicked. He stubbornness was worrying you.
He ignored your words and started dragging you along to leave the house.
You stiffened your stance and pulled back, causing him to twist and look at you. His eyes were red, and he was clearly on some sort of drug. "I'm being serious, Zackary, I don't want to go."
He rolled his eye and tried to drag you again. Your footing falter before you stumbled and fell.
"What the hell is going on here?"
The fall you took grabbed Kyle's attention, and you were glad. You got lucky Kyle happened to be in the near empty hallway. You looked up and mouthed the word 'help' towards him. He seemed to get your hint as he looked at your forearm that was still being harshly gripped.
"Nothing's going on, I'm just taking her to the spot that we were heading on our date before rudely interrupted."
Kyle seemed to snap out of whatever trance he was in as he started helping you up. "You good?" he asked.
"I am now," you sighed in relief.
"Y/n, come on, let's go," Zach said as he grabbed your arm.
Kyle quickly pulled you into him before Zach could drag you away. "I don't think she wants to bud."
"Yes she does, can you fuck off?"
Kyle looked down at you, questioning if what he said was true. With a quick shake of your head, Kyle pulled you behind him, "No dude, you need to go."
Zach argued with Kyle for a bit before reluctantly leaving.
You let out a breath you didn't even know you were holding, "Thank you, Kyle, I have no idea how that would have gone without you."
He spun around and looked at you, "No problem, just stick by me, will you?" You nodded. You preferred not to have anything eventful happen tonight.
You followed behind him till he got to the kitchen. You rested against the counter as he pulled a beer from the fridge. "Drinking are you," you ask, surprised.
"I need a drink after that."
"Funny enough, I need to sober up after that," you laugh.
"Good, I need someone to watch over me. I want to get fucked up," he said as he reopened the fridge and put his beer back, "with that thought, I'm just going to drink straight jack."
"It's gonna suck tomorrow."
"I'm aware, you'll take good care of me though. You owe me that, at least."
"Fair."
