"You sure you dont bring girls here?" You questioned, stepping over rocks in order to not sprain your ankle.

He turned around and looked at you, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure." He offered you a hand to help you get over a rather large hole in the ground.

You gave his arm a squeeze in thanks and continued following behind him. The scenery was covered with trees with the glow of a starting sunset behind them. The two of you have been hiking to this spot for twenty minutes so far. "How the hell did you find this while drunk?" You coughed out. The incline was horrible. Every step was a lunge.

"I'm a wonderer," he shrugged, "We're almost there."

"You're a fucking weirdo," you whispered under your breathe.

"What was that?" He turned around.

"You're hot," you covered up with a fake smile.

He rolled his eyes, "Yeah that's totally what you said."

He looked forward again and continued up the mountain. Climbing a short wall of rocks, he turned around and pulled you up to him.

"We're here," he smiled and guestered behind him.

"Finally," you muttered, stepping ahead of him to look around. "Holy shit," you breathed softly.

You were right. You guys were on a mountain, a high up one. The spot he took you was looking over a cliff edge. Everything after the drop-off is filled with greenery. The sunset painting everything in a golden hue.

"Is this the space you're going to murder me?" You turned around to look at him. He was leaning against a tree a couple of feet from you with his arms crossed. When you looked at him, he was already looking at you, trying to see your reaction.

"What gave it away?" He joked.

You shrugged and looked around a bit more. Everything you were standing on was rocky, making several rocky edges to sit down. So you did. Letting out a sigh when you finally sat down, stretching your arms above your head.

"It's a lot easier to go down than up," he spoke, walking to take a seat down next to you.

"I bet," you sighed.

He looked at you, "Sorry I didn't warn you about the hike."

"It's fine, definitely worth it," you smiled and leaned into his shoulder, bumping him with your own.

"I'm glad."

You took a deep breath in, admiring the view of everything. It was truly beautiful.

"What do we do when the group questions us next?" Kyle said, breaking the silence.

"What do you want to do?"

"No clue, we can say some bullshit about how we 'truly found ourselves in each other,'" he did finger quotes as he spoke.

"Very poetic, Broflovski," you nudged his shoulder again, "but that should work."

The conversation fell into silence, a comfortable one.

Your eyes were fixated on the space between you guys until you noticed him looking at you.

"What?" You laughed lightly.

He let out a breathless laugh, shaking his head, "Nothing."

You squinted your eyes, trying to tell what he was thinking.

"Tolkien is having another little get-together," he said randomly.

"Little? And again?"

"Yeah, I was thinking," he got closer to you, "We could sneak in and just use his hot tub."
