At first, it was only Craig who was questioning things. Then it was Tweek and Stan. Then Wendy and Tolkien. And then Cartman.
Cartman was the saving grace while he didn't know or realized. No one wanted to bring up the topic and key Cartman in. But now that he knew, it was a free for all.
It started with a small but noticeable hickeys that only appeared the day after Kyle had a day off. The more desperate touches. The lingering looks lasted way longer than before.
The sad thing is, it's only been a 2 weeks since you've kissed. And only kissed, nothing more and definitely nothing less.
But the group caught on before you could even catch on yourselves. Honestly, Kyle and you should have noticed how much you guys changed when Craig noticed. Should have realized that other people will notice too. Yet you guys pushed it off with the idea that Craig knew you best, so he would obviously figure it out. You guys didn't account for the fact that Stan and Tweek also know you guys really well, and so does everyone else in the group.
Now, you guys were soaking in the aftermath.
"First scrimmage type thing is tomorrow, right?" You questioned, still looking down at your phone.
"Yeah, it starts at 6," Kyle answered from the driver's seat.
He was driving you both to Stan's house. Everyone had the night of Wednesday free, so you guys decided to meet up. More so, everyone else spammed the group chat, so you guys came over.
You guys were in the aftermath, blissfully unaware.
"I'll be there then. I gotta see who you're playing with," you smiled, " Need to make sure you won't bite their head off."
"Har har," Kyle rolled his eyes. It was common for you to poke jokes at his temper. Or lack of.
"What? I'm serious. You threw a basketball at someone's head last season."
"I didn't hit them hard."
"You gave them a concussion, Kyle!"
"Whatever, get out of the car, we're here," He ignored as he took the keys out of the car.
You got out of the car just as quickly, following right behind him, "its an issue."
"No, it's not," Kyle commented as he opened the door to the garage.
"Yes, it is," you said before bumping into Kyle's back, not realizing that he paused in the doorway.
"Why is this set up like an intervention?" Kyle asked after a long silence. You peeped your head over his shoulder, and you could help but agree.
All the chairs were in a circle and facing each other.
You saw Wendy stand up and walk towards you guys, "We wanted to talk about you guys -"
"Nope," Kyle interrupted and shut the door, glad he left his hand on the door handle the entire time.
He quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you to the car. You guys scrambled in and locked the doors before anyone got over the shock factor of Kyle slamming the door. Once everyone got over the fact, they opened the door to see you and Kyle laughing as you quickly backed out of the driveway. Everything went by too quickly for you to even eye the way Kyle put his hand on the passenger seat to back up
"What even was that?" You laughed out after being halfway down the road.
"I don't know, but I'm putting my phone on do not disturb," Kyle sighed, "Actually, could you do that? Kinda hard to do that and drive."
"Yeah, sure," you reached over and grabbed his phone from the dash after silencing your own phone.
Upon unlocking his phone, you let out a gasp.
"What?" Kyle looked over quickly.
You pointed the phone towards him, "You didn't tell me I was on your homescreen."
He let out a sigh of relief that you didn't find anything worse, "Why would I?"
"Because I'm drunk as fuck in it, I'm literally falling off my chair while holding my drinking up to make sure it doesn't spill," you looked at him blankly.
"Yeah, super hot, by the way," he retorted.
You rolled your eyes, "I'm going to get a bad one of you now."
"I'd like to see you try," he challenged.
You scoffed, "You act like it's going to be hard. All I have to do is take a zoomed in picture of your face tomorrow during the game, then boom, comedy gold for the rest of my life."
"Glad to know you're going to be thinking about me for the rest of your life," he joked.
"Cute," you replied, "But where are we going?"
"Yours?" He looked over at you quickly.
"Kenny is definitely going to look there if they want answers quick," you pointed out.
"Oh, I have a good spot then," Kyle smiled to himself.
"Where?"
"You'll see."
"Kyle, I swear if you take me to the little nerd spot you study at, I'm going to lose it."
"No," he laughed, "I'm going to take you to the little burned down house I always go to. It's like 10 minutes away from our house, and the guys don't know about it. "
"Ooh, only the girls," you teased.
"Oh yeah, I have a lot of those to bring around," Kyle joked with you.
"How'd you find it?"
"I go on walks occasionally to clear my head or when I can't sleep, stumbled upon it when I was drunk one night."
"Kyle Broflovski, drunk and alone? Couldn't be."
"I was fucked up from hanging with Tolkien and my parents were home so I freaked out about going home so I walked around to get sober," he clears the story for you.
"Let me guess, parents found you?" You trying to assume the rest of the story, knowing how his mom acts sometimes.
"Nah, I woke up in that burnt house the next day confused as fuck," Kyle finished, laughing lightly at the memory.
"We all wake up in a random field somehow, and I right?" You joked. Knowing you have wondered off while drunk a few times, waking up in a random field confused.
