The games that you played varied. If you were apart and talking over the phone, you played Roblox mainly. While together, you played many different games, currently Minecraft.

"If you steal my coal one more times I'll kill your dog," you threatened.

"Don't leave it available for me to steal."

"IT WAS SMELTING MY IRON! STEAL MY IRON NOT MY COAL!" You yelled and smacked him with your hand. He laughed before standing up and grabbing another round of beer.

You settled down after opening your can of beer. The buzz of alcohol fueled your body with unnormal calmness you wouldn't feel sober. You were content rather than constantly worrying.

"You have enough drinks in you to talk?" Stan asked as he opened his can. You looked at him briefly before looking back at the screen. He let you soak in the silence for a second before speaking again, "look I know you don't like talking about your feelings, or you in general," he paused for a small laugh,"but come on, this isn't just affecting you anymore. And you almost killed yourelf."

You gave him a quick glance before looking away again and focusing back on the screen.

He says your name with a sigh, "I won't push but I'm here alright? I know this isn't like you."

Nodding while continuing to farm in game seemed to be enough of an answer for him. He left you alone on the topic. Part of you was relieved, but another part of you wished he pushed for more.

It's confusing of you, to not answer and push people away, yet hope they come back. It's selfish, and you can't help it. You don't even know why you do it. You can't explain the things you do or feel, even to yourself. You don't want to drink yourself to a near death state, you just want to feel. Stan might relate to you with that.

You don't know much on why Stan drinks, it's probably for the numbness or distraction, but you've been drinking with him since you were first starting highschool. Stan and you never really got to into the reasons why you guys are the way you are, but you do know Stan struggles mentally. His parent's relationship is rocky just like how his relationship with Wendy is rocky. He's talked about it a few times but always switches the conversation once he felt too vulnerable.

The buzz of Stan's phone moved your focus from the TV. He glanced at his phone before groaning and answering on speaker.

"Yes Wendy?"

"Where are you?" She spoke in a whisper yell. Her tone made you glance at the phone and back at Stan.

"Home? Why?"

"Did you forget? Again? Seriously Stan," she sighed, "I had a debate today that you promised to be at."

"Shit. Um, is there an after party or something I can meet you at?" The tone Stan spoke in was pure distress. He loved her but he always felt like he messed things up, which right now he did mess up. He clearly felt bad since he was already packing his stuff up.

Wendy told him where to meet her before questioning, "How'd you forget? What were you doing that was so important?" Stan paused, making eye contact with you. The pause was enough for Wendy, "Are you drinking? Are you with Y/n?"

"Yeah..." He seemed defeated as he put on his shoes.

The sigh Wendy let out explained exactly how she felt. She said hello to you, somehow knowing she was on speaker. The guilt that coursed through you made you start to pack up your stuff to leave as well.

Stan left the garage and started his truck to leave. Despite you and Wendy advising him to not drink and drive. "Where are you gonna go?" Stan asked you as he sat in his truck.
