Jamie's P.O.V.
"Mirage?"
"I'm alive thanks to you," he says as he sits beside me, "you saved many Autobots from Cemetery Wind and the TRF."
"Not all of them," I don't bother hiding my disappointment.
"I know you did your best, and new Autobots came to Earth."
I'm amazed N.E.S.T. was relaunched, and new Autobots came to Earth after all the shit. Though it's easier for any of them to leave since Cybertron is attached to Earth. How many Autobots returned to Cybertron or chose to join N.E. S.T.? Then I remember how I'm here because Jayce opened her mouth and scared Crosshairs and Drift instead of the two mechs asking me to come back; so now these new Autobots will likely think they better avoid me. It's getting to the point where I need to end this adventure. I can't leave, even if the other bots and soldiers don't know...

I left to go use the bathroom when I heard Sunstreaker yelling;
"LISTEN UP, FLESHIE, I'M IN CHARGE! I WILL ONLY REMIND YOU ONCE!! NEXT TIME I'LL TEACH YOU A LESSON ABOUT WHO'S IN CHARGE!!"
Not surprised he's right back to acting like he's in charge. I continue on my way before he sees me and before Crosshairs or Drift freak out that I left the cafeteria.

Mirage left before I returned. Six other Autobots sit at another table, enjoying dinner and talking. I only recognize three of them. I'm just going to sit at the table alone.

Drift's P.O.V.
This will be hard; Jamie wasn't one to talk about what's on her mind, to begin with. With this new issue, it will be hard to get her to talk. I look at her, sitting at the table, and an image of her dead fills my mind.
What if I can't keep her safe?
I can't leave her alone, even though the others can closely watch her without knowing why. To them, it'll be spending time with her, when they'll also keep her safe.
"She'll be ok," Crosshairs tries to assure me, but I can tell he's worried we won't be able to keep Jamie safe.
We finish making one of Jamie's favorite dinners.
"I know she loves cheese, but that's too much!"
"No, it's not," Crosshairs smiles as he puts cheese on the chicken.

Jamie laughs as I tell her Crosshairs was the one who put a lot of cheese on the chicken. Amazingly, the cheese didn't burn, but as I thought, it's a lot. I'd love to get Jamie to talk, but it's a bad idea.

We watch a movie with Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Hound. I don't know why I'm worried about Jamie going to sleep tonight to the point I hope she falls asleep as we watch the movie. It's too late to get one of the other Autobots to take my place for my nightly patrol tonight. I didn't think I'd be this worried; otherwise, I would have told Sunstreaker to take my place on night patrols rather than watching Jamie. The terror twins join us twenty minutes later. By the looks of it, Sideswipe made Sunstreaker join him.

Of course, Jamie didn't fall asleep, and it's time for Crosshairs and me to go on patrol.
"She'll be ok with me," Sideswipe assures me.
Jamie hugs me goodbye before continuing to watch the movie.
I already have a feeling tonight will not go well for her.

Sideswipe'a P.O.V.
Sunstreaker sulks as we watch the rest of the movie. Bumblebee questions why I made Sunstreaker join me. I didn't drag his aft here; I only asked him to come with me. Sunstreaker could have stayed in our room.

Sunstreaker did leave a half-hour later. I worry Jamie is trying not to sleep tonight, but Bee says it's normal for her to be up late. It's hard to know if that's the case because a lot has changed since Jamie hide most of us. She didn't meet Crosshairs and Drift until she returned before things changed. I doubt Crosshairs immediately liked her, Drift would not have trusted her,  and now the three are close.

Bumblebee stayed until Jamie fell asleep at midnight. I carry her to her room and put her to bed.
"You're seriously staying here all night?" Sunstreaker rages.
"Yes, there's a reason Crosshairs, Drift, and Prime want somebot watching her overnight while Crosshairs and Drift are on patrol. Which, they'd tell me why."
Sunstreaker leaves as I lay on Crosshairs' bed.
Why do your guardians feel like you need to be watched, Jamie? Surely they wouldn't keep it secret if the issue is nightmares.
I send Crosshairs and Drift a text telling them Jamie is asleep before trying to figure out why they think Jamie needs to be watched.
