Ch. 1 Terrifying Discovery

Drift's P.O.V.
I knew I should have sought permission from Prime to stay with Jamie. I did like helping Sunstreaker and Lily, but Jamie and her friends, Jayce and J.R., had just got over six months of emotional struggle when Bumblebee, Crosshairs, Hound, and I were told to return to our dimension. I should have known it was too soon to leave them. Jamie would have insisted I go, and I thought we had a good communication setup. That wasn't enough to keep Jamie in a good mental and emotional state. Jayce and J.R. have been doing ok. They are just worried about Jamie. Crosshairs and I have been discussing having Jamie stay with us for a while.
"I think she needs time away from her dimension rather than us returning to her dimension."  
"Yeah, better for her to be here with friends," Crosshairs agrees, "no doubt she misses you." "I hate how she says nothing about her wants or needs."
"Well, you fell for a stubborn human."
"We're both her guardians, so you have a stubborn friend." 

We meet with Ratchet, Ironhide, Lennox, and Optimus Prime. Plus, the terror twins, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Why the hell are they allowed to be a part of this meeting? This isn't everyone but mostly everyone who needs to be involved in this decision. Though Bumblebee, Cade, and Hound need to be involved. I won't argue about who's at the meeting and who isn't. It seems odd having to seek permission to bring my femme here. Yes, we can have Jamie and her friends come here whenever but with what Jayce has been telling me about Jamie's mental state, It's better this way. Everything is going well until Jayce interrupts. She looks scared and had been crying. Her blue eyes are red and puffy.
"Something is wrong," Optimus comments, "take her to the next room." 

Crosshairs and I activate our holoforms and take her to the next room, both afraid to hear what Jayce has to say. Her black hair isn't messy, and she's dressed in her black ninja outfit. Whatever has her upset has to have just happened, and this can't be good.
"Jayce, what's wrong?" Crosshairs asks.

Crosshairs' P.O.V.
Something has Jayce frightened; I feel her trembling as I hug her. This is going to take a while. I want to take my time with her, but if there's a problem, then we need to get to Jamie's dimension fast. I'm amazed Drift has yet to rush to Jamie's dimension. He tries to help me get Jayce to talk. Jayce usually isn't the one who refuses to tell us anything. I'll give her a few more minutes before I open a portal to Jamie's dimension without knowing what's happening.
Jayce finally tells us the problem, which terrifies us. Now I'm amazed Drift has yet to rush to Jamie's dimension. We need Jayce to tell Ironhide, Ratchet, Optimus, and Lennox. If I knew an argument would happen, I would have relayed this new information myself after Jayce returned to Jamie's dimension.
I hold Jayce as she cries, hearing Lennox rage about letting Jamie come here, claiming it's no longer safe with this new information. Optimus and Ratchet are calm as they state their arguments for why the plan doesn't change. I didn't expect Drift to argue. I have to get Jayce out of the room.

Sideswipe stands in the hallway, concerned. No surprise Sunstreaker didn't stick around. I tried to get Jayce to stay with Sideswipe, but she wouldn't let go of me.
"It's going to be ok," I assure her.

Ten minutes of arguing later, Ratchet and Optimus want to go to Jamie's dimension.

It's quiet at the base in Jamie's dimension. It's normal at this time of day, but it's concerning after what Jayce told us. We find Jamie sleeping on the couch and J.R. standing by her, pissed.
"What did you do?" Jayce asks, frightened.
"I'm sick of her causing everyone shit!" J.R. rages.
"So you gave her a black eye?" Drift asks, looking at Jamie.
"Do you realize you could have done more than a black eye with your strength?" Ratchet scolds before walking to the back of the couch and looking at Jamie. Not even thirty seconds pass before Ratchet rips the top of Jamie's red gi off. By now, we are all around the couch, shocked at what we see.
"I didn't do that. I swear," J.R. frets.
Both girls end up weak at the knees. Drift, and I get them to sit on the other couch.
Jamie isn't bleeding, which must be why Ratchet isn't in a hurry to return to our dimension or at least bring her to the medbay here and is focusing on Jayce, and J.R. Drift is now sitting on the couch, holding Jamie. I can tell he's blaming himself for this.
He's also worried about Jayce and J.R.
"Easy, Jamie will be ok," Ratchet says while holding J.R. as she leans forward. I rush to the medbay, grabbing two emesis bins.

I see J.R. has passed out, causing Jayce to panic more. Drift has her lie down, watching her in case she needs to throw up.
"They'll be ok. They need to calm down," Ratchet says while focusing on Jamie.

Ratchet's P.O.V.
I never thought she'd do this in all the years I've known Jamie. She knows about the human body and the damage that any wound can do. After what Jayce told us, I'm amazed these cuts aren't deep. Glad they aren't deep. I can't leave Jayce and J.R. like this. I can wait until we return to our dimension to focus on Jamie.  

A half-hour passes before Jayce and J.R. are calm. 
"Jayce, J.R., listen to me," Optimus starts, ensuring the femmes are paying attention, "Jamie will be ok. We made plans to have Jamie return to our dimension regardless of this new development, and we will keep her safe."
"I told you it would be a matter of time before Drift wants his femme to return to him," J.R. comments, looking at Jayce. We all start laughing but quickly stop, forgetting Jamie is asleep and I want to keep her asleep.
"You two can come to visit, but after today's events, time away is a good idea. You know Crosshairs and Drift will keep the same communication you five had before today."
I'm talking mostly to J.R. 
The two girls are unsure of this but agree. We stay another ten minutes, ensuring the two girls would be ok, before leaving.

J.R.'s P.O.V.
"She'll be ok," I whisper to Jayce as we watch our friends leave. We agree Jamie needs to be with Crosshairs and Drift, but after finding she harmed herself, it's scary to watch her leave even if she'll be surrounded by friends, even though we know Crosshairs and Drift will closely watch her, that Jamie misses them so much that she won't want to stay away from them. She needs this to change her mental state.
