Jamie's P.O.V.
It's been a quiet afternoon, but I'm bored. I don't want to do what I usually do all day. It's a good thing I'm not assigned any duties right now. I'd be discharged by now even though I've only been here for five days, but I am considered an Autobot under Prime's command rather than a soldier under Lennox's command. Add my cross-dimensional travel; it's complicated. Still, something tells me I am not being asked to do anything, thanks to Jayce.I approach the training room when the annoying group of soldiers from earlier approaches me.
"Are you a soldier or not?" The one who introduced himself earlier asks.
"She's probably on a witness protection program. You know how those Decepticon are," the blonde-haired soldier suggests.
Fucking assholes.Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
I don't know why Sideswipe thinks I should be friends with Jamie. He insists I read her records to understand why or watch her, which will not happen even if I want to.
"... she's weak and needs two bodyguards," I hear a soldier.
I see a group of four soldiers and Jamie.
I don't like her, but I don't like how these soldiers surround her even more.
I listen to these afts being an aft to her for ten seconds before I see one soldier go down, then another before seeing Jamie is the reason these fleshies are going down. I don't know how the frag punches are causing them to go down.
"Assholes," she comments before walking away.I walk up to the soldiers on the floor. They're not dead, considering they're terrified to see me.
"Well, how does it feel to be beaten by a femme you call weak?" I taunt before kicking the one beside my feet and walking away.I return to my room and ask Sideswipe for his phone.
"Why?" He asks, "I have nothing interesting on here."
He knows why. He just wants me to say it.
"You're an aft," I say while sitting on my bed.
"You're too embarrassed to say you want to read Jamie's records," he teases.
I punch him in the stomach before grabbing his phone, hoping to find out what she did to the soldiers.
The files are well organized, and I found what I wanted quickly, chi blocking, interesting.
"That's it?" Sideswipe asks, disappointed, "I really think-."
"NO!!" I yell in his face before leaving the room, slamming the door behind me.
I hate that I feel sadness in our bond, but I have no interest in being Jamie's friend.Sideswipe's P.O.V.
I'm not giving up; Jamie and Sunstreake can help each other. I'll just have to tell Sunstreaker what I've read — or most of what I've read. Done of the information will not be good for him to know now. I better ask Crosshairs, Drift, and Ratchet if this is a good idea.Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
Sideswipe pissed me off, but I go to the training room instead of finding humans to kill. Who do I find in the room? That fleshie. I watch her put weights on the bar. There's no way she's lifting two hundred and fifty pounds. No one else is here. What an idiot. I could leave and let her die from being unable to get the bar off her, but I stay and watch.
To my amazement, this tiny human lifts the two-hundred-and-fifty-pound bar without a problem. I watch her workout for fifteen minutes before she finishes. Jamie stands in the middle of the room as if she doesn't know what to do next. Jamie looks in my direction, but I'm hidden enough, so she can't see me, but I see her. Why is she afraid? She uses the other door to leave the room. Something is unusual about her.Sideswipe is waiting for me when I return to our room. He nervously asks if he can play video games with Jamie before asking if I'm ok.
Scrap, he sees how concerned I am.
"I'm telling you read the files," Sideswipe says when I tell him I watched Jamie lift two hundred and fifty pounds before seeing a scared expression on her face.Sideswipe's P.O.V.
It seems Sunstreaker catching Jamie defending herself against soldiers' verbal attack and working out has intrigued him. I just worry that'll all change as he figures out why I think they'll be good friends, and there's another important piece of information, though I worry it'll be why Sunny refuses to be her friend.I run into Jamie as she walks to her room. I hate how she's trying to get past me. I sit on my knees to make eye contact and take her hands, causing her to panic.
"Stop; I'm not going to hurt you," I assure her.
"He'll hurt you for being near me," Jamie says while trying to break free, "let go, Sideswipe!"
I hate the fear in her voice. I see Sunny looking from the corner down the hall. Then it dawned on me; one of Jamie's powers is sensing energy. She knows Sunny is near. I let Jamie's hands go, resulting in her falling to the floor. Jamie rushes to get up and get into the room. I don't like that she's alone right now. I text Crosshairs, Drift, and Ratchet about this before going down the hall. Sunstreaker had already left the area. I'm not sure if it's good or bad that he saw this.Jamie's P.O.V.
He's stalking me. He's planning on killing me. I can't kill him, even if that didn't mean killing Sideswipe. I must get out of here before he kills one of the others.
