Both had fallen asleep on different side of the bed, so how did they end up like this?

How comes Jay (the self-claimed light sleeper) didn't even wake up because of this?

On top of all, how was he supposed to withstand this now that he was awake?

Jungwon's chin was resting in the crook of Jay's neck, the younger's arms around his waist, one leg tangled with his. Jungwon was using him like he was his teddy bear.

That was a clear invasion of Jay's health because his heart was losing it once again.

He was debating whether to tell Sunghoon his symptoms or not, but most likely, all of them would point to a visit in the medical house anyway.

Seriously, where was Jake when you needed him?

He would have an answer to this, but the only thing Jay had right now was a guard head over heels for some minister's son.

Jay was more than aware of Sunghoon's absence the last couple of days, despite the guard pretending to just have "a lot of things to take care of outside."

The thing was the only person allowed to make him do things was Jay.

So either someone was committing high treason by pretending to be the second prince and ordering him around, or Jay pretty much had been lied to just so Sunghoon could go to Sunoo.

With that aside, Jay couldn't possibly tell Sunghoon that his heart had gone insane and lost any form of regularity in the presence of his husband.

This condition only proved one thing: he had to get out of here ASAP. Otherwise, he would suffer from serious health issues. And, honestly, Jay prioritised his health over every—

Jungwon tried to nestle his head deeper in his neck. His fluffy hair was tickling Jay's skin. He felt the younger's grip around his waist tightening with Jungwon's chest pressed against his back. His warmth was enveloping the screenwriter completely.

Maybe he could be sick just for one more min— he was a villain, for god's sake.

In his opinion, an undoubtably genius one at that.

He had tricked Jungwon into finally giving in and finally following the storyline by the pretence of wanting to divorce him.

Of course, because he was the screenwriter of this story, there was no way he would fail. Acting so emotionally and getting himself immersed in self-doubt was just part of making him appear genuine. He knew Jungwon so well to the point that he had risked everything just to get him.

The screenwriter had meant it when he said he would make Jungwon fall for him no matter how desperate he needed to become for that.

He would and had achieved it.
