Whatever Jay had done, he was regretting it now.
He— correction: his impulsive ass shouldn't have offended his notoriously cruel and cold-hearted husband.
Every damn time Jay had walked out from behind this damn dressing curtain, he was forced to go back again a second later. He couldn't even stand his own look in the mirror at this point anymore.
Jungwon was continuously demanding him to change, and no one knew why. Didn't he like how his husband looked? The look of the clothes? The colour combinations? The pieces on their own?
The only thing he heard were two words —Change him.
They had to do this whole procedure now eight times, and honestly, everyone was exhausted, especially Jay (and his tailor).
The screenwriter stepped out from behind the curtain and tried to make last adjustments to his look by pulling the clothes the way they would look best.
He had picked every piece now himself because he thought he had found Jungwon's pattern.
Nothing with a plunging neckline or something even hinting that. Nothing in red or green. Nothing with any sort of transparent fabric. Nothing styled with glasses. Nothing styled with too many earrings and necklaces. Nothing enhancing his neckline, more importantly (and unknown to Jay until now that Jungwon seemed to know about it), his heart-shaped birthmark.
So here he was in a white losen shirt with a black suit jacket, a black blazer with different shades of white pearl embroidery highlighting his shoulders and black trousers perfectly fitting him and complimenting his long legs.
Not instantly hearing 'change him' set a first wave of hope up, but Jay soon realised that Jungwon wasn't even there to judge.
He was still in his dressing room.
One of the crown prince's dressing assistants was about to go behind the curtain to help him change his clothes.
Jay got a hold of the dressing assistant before he could enter and pulled him slightly back. "I will do it," he almost inaudibly said to him, nudging his head to the back where the door was to signal him to leave.
The assistant did as ordered, pulling his co-worker with him. All people left in under a minute the room. Leaving only him and Jungwon back.
Jay carefully pushed the curtain slightly to the side to get behind it. He made minimal sound, yet Jungwon heard it.
"Here," Jungwon said with his back turned to Jay and pointed to the back of his shirt. He couldn't reach the top. "Untie it, please."
The screenwriter didn't know if he would survive his own act of revenge. His ego had given him the courage to plan on avenging himself for the torture he had to go through the last three hours, but now he was rethinking his impulsive decision.
