Ciao! Serafina Lucy "Weirdo" Ravenwood-that's my name, but you can call me Seraph; it's just that my classmates prefer calling me weirdo because they think I'm weird.

I don't have any friends since no one wants to be friends with me. How dare they say nobody can get along with me when they didn't even try to accompany me in the first place?

But enough with my dramatic story.

Before I show you my world, let me share with you my little secret. I'm a witch; you know someone who possesses magical powers, but we do not use them to harm people. That's the difference between us and sorcerers.

You might be wondering how I manage to live in the world of normal people. Well, that's because our power emerges after our sixteenth birth. I still have a month left before I finally turn into a witch.

If there is anything that the world of normal people has in common with our world, it is its unfairness and greed. Many desire to attain the pinnacle of power. The chaos that comes from within us, rather than spells, jinxes, enchantments, and magic, is what destroys the world.

It's not that clear, but I remember some of the stories my grandmother told me. War began in the world of magical beings when the Onyx Empire was built, an empire made up of powerful but evil sorcerers. They want to conquer the entire Nexus, the world where all magical beings exist.

Because of this incident, the Witvilyry Ministry was formed. They are led by the high leaders of Grand East Springs, the place where all the wizards and witches live. Witvilyry remains the most powerful to this day, but an old prophecy foretold that a time would come when the entire Nexus would be taken over by darkness.

Several hundred years have passed since the prophecy was revealed, and it has served only as hearsay to the masses. But still, our clan strongly believes that there will come a point when what is destined will happen. This is why my family chose to stay in the world of normals rather than live in the Nexus.

But I was not born to be a coward and run away from the future. I don't fit in this world, and I'm sure people won't accept it when they find out about the existence of people like me.

Society doesn't accept me here, so I want to leave it and go to the Nexus. Maybe there I'll find the acceptance I'm asking for from others. Also, if something bad happens to the Nexus, I want to be able to witness it and somehow help restore its peace. But there is one thing that stops me from doing what I want.

Where on earth can I find Nexus?

Ey!

Amawreyy here, your author from a magical world.

I just wanted to add a few additional messages before you started reading. There is a possibility that you'll encounter typographical errors and wrong grammar since they are visible in this story, and I am already apologizing for that. Also, I'm not a professional writer while writing this, so maybe it can be cringeworthy sometimes, but still, I wish you'll give it a chance.

I hope you enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoy writing it. See you in the next chapter!

:)
