Penelope Point of View,
"Janette! What the hell is going on?! I thought they are dead!"
"Seraph, hey, it's us.
"Hoy babae! Anong ginawa ninyo sa kanya." -si Oliver.
"Were you scared of her? Well, that is to be expected. A sorcerer's blood runs through her veins. You'll eventually see her true form, but for now, admire her beauty. She's like a beautiful vampire, isn't she?" she said with a smirk.
"Seraph! Get away from her!" Morgan shouted.
"It's useless, she doesn't even remember you anymore. Don't you see, she wants you dead." the woman cackled. I wanted to wipe that smirk off her face out of sheer annoyance. Her entire existence was irritating
"I actually want to share another story about Seraph. This one's about her mother. You know the myth about the princess of Eldermyst that caused its curse, right? Well, that was her mom. Quite a plot twist, huh? There's a lot more to her than meets the eye. Don't worry, you're not the only ones surprised, even she is."
"Ah ah, don't you dare." she warned.
We instinctively stepped closer to Seraph as the woman held a knife to her neck. Ehann raised both his hands and emerged from his hiding spot. Seraph didn't react to what was happening.
As the woman lowered the knife from Seraph's neck, Alistair suddenly cast a spell that hit her. I rushed forward and pulled Seraph away. She struggled, but my grip was firm as she seemed weakened.
"Seraph, listen, it's us. Please wake up!" Morgan said, embracing her.
"Stay away from me! You're enemies!" Seraph angrily exclaimed. Her nails dug deeper, causing my arms to bleed, but I endured the pain.
We hurriedly left the mansion together, unaware of what awaited us. A gigantic dragon greeted us, a person perched upon its back.
I'd never seen this before. Its colossal wings, shimmering scales, and piercing eyes exuded an otherworldly aura. The sheer enormity of the creature sent shivers down my spine, while its presence commanded both fear and admiration.
Its scales gleamed with an iridescent sheen, reflecting the ambient light in a mesmerizing display of colors. The dragon's eyes glowed with an ancient wisdom, betraying intelligence beyond mere instinct. Its long, sinuous body coiled gracefully, muscles rippling beneath its majestic, armored exterior.
