Chapter 16

"I can't live in my own house, you know? It's just torture for me, everything reminds me of them." Scoups explains. Dino smiles.
"Ofcourse you can live with me! But please take care of yourself." Dino says and Scoups looks at him hurt.
"How am I supposed to do that when everything is falling apart?" his voice is trembling. Dino is quick to take the black-haired male back in his arms and hug him tight.
"Hey, it's not your fault. No one could've thought that they would poison your drink." Dino tries to reason with Scoups. The leader shrugs and pulls away again. He raises his eyebrow, as if he just realized something.
"I totally forgot that it was my drink." Scoups says, "That means that they tried to poison me." Dino is impressed of how Scoups can keep his calm in a situation like this. He literally just realized that someone tried to kill him and he's as calm as a lake.
"Aren't you worried?" Dino asks confused. Scoups glances at him, there is no single emotion shown in his eyes. It's like the moment before where he broke down in Dino's arm has never happened.
"About me? No. About you guys, yes I am. There are already too many deaths and I'm afraid this won't be the last one." Scoups answers. Dino is getting nervous from those words, but he knows that it's the truth.
"I'm going to unpack my stuff." Scoups adds a few seconds later, still acting like nothing has happened. Maybe the black-haired male is in denial, or he accepted the fact that both his roommates are dead. Suddenly, Dino hears loud knocks coming from his door. It's like someone is desperately banging on the wooden door.
"I'm coming!" Dino yells while walking towards his door. It's probably Minho, who has decided that it has been long enough. But when Dino opens the door, a red-haired male rushes past him.
"Have you seen Scoups!?" Jeonghan asks nervously. Dino is too flabbergasted to answer and Jeonghan takes the silence as a no.
"Shit," he curses, "I'm afraid that they got to him, his whole house is a mess and-" Dino can't hear Jeonghan anymore because the red-haired male has disappeared into Dino's room. Only a few seconds later, a dull sound comes from Dino's room followed by Jeonghan screaming.
"You fucking asshole!" the red-haired boy yells while Dino enters the room in shock. Scoups is pinned against the wall and a furious Jeonghan is holding the leader's arms with such force that you can see his knuckles getting white. The tension in the room is massive, so Dino decides to stay silent. Scoups looks at Jeonghan confused but surprised and the red-haired boy is panting, their faces are only inches apart.
"What the fuck are you doing!?" Jeonghan yells angry. Scoups keeps looking at his friend confused.
"What do you mean-" the black-haired male gets interrupted by Jeonghan slamming him against the wall once again. Scoups flinches, it clearly hurt him and Dino is doubting if he has to get in between the two males.
"I thought that you were caught by those creeps! I thought you were dead! Your house was one big mess, as if someone had robbed you, or worse, kidnapped you!" Jeonghan explains. The red-haired male is still furious, but Dino notices his grip getting looser. And once again, Dino is impressed by the calmness Scoups has, Dino would surely be terrified if someone did this to him.
"I'm sorry, the police has been looking through my stuff and I haven't cleaned it up. I just couldn't live in that house for one second longer." Scoups explains, Dino notices that his voice is frimly, to get Jeonghan to understand him.
"But why did I have to hear from the hospital that Hoshi has died!? You knew, I know you do!" Scoups presses his lips in a thin line and let's his head fall down a bit. The leader stays silent, it looks like he doesn't have an answer to that. Jeonghan scoffs.
"Fuck you!" he yells while slamming Scoups against the wall one last time before running off and slamming the door shut. Dino gasps and Scoups exhales deeply. For a while, the two males stare at each other in silence, processing what just happened.
"I'm sorry, Dino." Scoups mumbles while sitting down on his bed. Dino shakes his head and sits down next to him.
"No, you did nothing wrong! Are you allright?" Dino asks concerned. He couldn't help but notice Scoups flinching sometimes. The black-haired male shrugs and runs his hand through his hair.
"Don't worry about me. I will fix this." normally, Dino would feel comforted with those words. But now, he only feels more nervous and irritated.
"God, shut your bullshit!" he yells. Scoups looks at the brunette in surprise, he didn't expect the sweet boy to attack him as well.
"I can see you, you know. You're mourning and in pain. Your member has attacked you only seconds ago, someone is trying to murder you and you keep your fucking calm! How does that make any sense!?" Dino rants. Scoups sighs and massages his temples.
"If I get nervous or fucked up, they will get what they want. Don't you think that I am dying inside? Don't you think that I'm worried about you guys all the time? I can only save you if I keep focusing and I can't focus when I'm freaking out." Dino stares at Scoups in silence and nods his head.
"Okay, I was just worried about you." he says quietly.
"I'm fine. As I said, I will fix this." Scoups places his hand on Dino's shoulder to comfort him.
"Let's get some sleep, I believe that we need it." Dino suggest and Scoups smiles.
"Where can I sleep?" he asks. Dino looks at his bed and the many pillows laying down on top of it.
"We can both sleep in this bed, it's big enough. And we can separate ourselves from each other with the pillows." Scoups gets up from the bed and nods his head.
"Sounds like a plan." he says impressed. Dino and Scoups make themselves ready to go to bed and when they both lay down, Dino smiles.
"This doesn't feel too bad." he admits. He can hear Scoups chuckle.
"You're right, I can live with this." Dino snuggles himself into his blanket and closes his eyes.
"Goodnight, Scoups." Dino mumbles.
"Goodnight, Dino." Scoups replies before falling asleep.
