Chapter 20

"Me?" Seungmin is surprised by the sudden question.
"Him?" Hyunjin adds. He clearly doesn't like the fact that Chan wants Seungmin to go with Hyunjin and Felix today instead of him. The leader sighs annoyed.
"Yes, I can't go today. I have things to handle. We have to be prepared when Scoups comes, he can be here any minute. I know he will track the voice message down and I want to catch him when he arrives." Chan says.
"Why are we focusing on Scoups so much?" Seungmin asks carefully. Hyunjin slaps him at the back of his head.
"Because he is the leader of that other group, stupid." he scoffs. Seungmin clenches his fists, but Chan responds as well.
"First of all, we don't hit each other, allright? Second of all, I believe that's a valid question. Ofcourse it's because he's the leader, but I may not have told you yet about the fact that there's more behind it all." Chan states mysteriously. It makes Hyunjin and Seungmin curious, but the only answer they get from their leader is a smirk.
"I'll inform you guys later about that, now I have to leave." Chan wants to turn around, but Hyunjin starts complaining again.
"Why can't Jeongin go with us? He's way more fun!" the salmon-haired male acts like a five year old and Seungmin can see the annoyance in Chan's face.
"Because he's coming with me. Seungmin is coming with you, end of discussion." the leader grunts and he walks away before Hyunjin can say anything else.
"Let's go, the quicker we're done, the better." Hyunjin says and Seungmin follows the salmon-haired male to the room Dino's in. Felix is already inside while Seungmin puts a mask in front of his face. Dino doesn't even look up to see who's coming in. Seungmin didn't think anything of all of this before, but seeing Dino sitting down, broken and tired, he can't help but feel sorry for him. Seungmin knows that Dino doesn't deserve all this harm, but his teammates have decided to kidnap him because apparently, Scoups is pretty close with the brunette. Seungmin gasps when he notices that Felix is holding a chain. Luckily, he has a mask in front of his face because it turns red immediately when he sees everyone looking at him. Dino is looking at him confused and Felix and Hyunjin are giving him a death stare.
"I hope you aren't tired from yesterday." Hyunjin turns to Dino and Seungmin is glad he does. The brunette sighs as if he has already accepted the fact that he gets tortured every day. Seungmin tells himself to ignore it, he can't be too kind to people. He walks over to Dino's chair. Seungmin is here in Chan's place, which means that he has to release Dino from the ropes, hold him in place and tie him back to the chair again. When the brunette is released, Seungmin grabs his arms. He quickly looks away when he sees the brunette flinching. Hyunjin pushes Dino down and the brunette is on his knees. The salmon-haired male sits down on Dino's legs while Felix sits down right in front of him, on Dino's back. With a little puff, Dino is laying down on the ground. Seungmin has to watch it all, he doesn't know why but maybe it's better if he does. He can't bear to do this to the brunette. Hyunjin and Felix share a grinning look before Felix wraps the chain around Dino's neck like a collar. Seungmin can see the confusion and fear in Dino's eyes, the brunette is an open book in his eyes.
"Let's ride the horse, shall we?" Felix asks smirking and Seungmin tries not to throw up hearing that sentence. Hyunjin is laughing maniacly while Felix pulls the chain, lifting Dino's head up while slowly chocking him. Not to mention the fact that the brunette's back is also hurting like hell right now, Seungmin can tell that this is a very uncomfortable position. To Seungmin's surprise, Dino stays quiet. Not one single scream, not one tear. Deep inside, Seungmin admires the brunette. He's so strong, not everyone can be this quiet with that much pain. When Seungmin has the feeling that Dino is dying because he doesn't get any air, Felix releases the chain and Dino gasps while his head falls back down on the ground. Seungmin is quick to pull the brunette back up and he makes sure that he uses the least painful way to do so. He notices that there is a small cut above the brunette's eyebrow, probably from the way his head hit the ground a few seconds ago.
"Please be quick, we don't have all day." Hyunjin scoffs. Seungmin rolls his eyes, although no one can see it, and places Dino on his chair gently.
"We're waiting for you outside." Felix says annoyed and he walks out, followed by Hyunjin. This causes Dino and Seungmin to be all alone in the room. Dino looks extremely tired and Seungmin can see that his eyes are dull, as if all life is slowly being taken away.
"Auch!" Dino whines silently. Right after, he presses his lips into a thin line out of embarrassment. Seungmin can only smile at that and he's more than glad he's wearing a mask right now.
"You're stronger than you believe. Just hold on for a little longer." Seungmin whispers. He knows that the original plan is to kill Dino once they have Scoups, but Seungmin wants Dino to keep having faith until the very last end. The brunette gives him a surprised look, but smiles briefly while Seungmin ties his wrists. When Seungmin walks out and closes the door behind him, he promises himself to never watch something like that again.
