Dino is packing his stuff, he finally got the persmission to leave the hospital. Right at the time the brunette has put his last things in his bag -although it wasn't much anyway- , someone enters Dino's room.
"Are you excited to head back home?" Wonwoo asks smiling. Surprised, Dino looks up.
"You didn't have to be here, I can go home myself", Dino teases the black-haired male with glasses. Wonwoo clicks his tongue and walks over to his friend.
"I know, but that would be pretty sad, wouldn't it?" Wonwoo asks and Dino can only agree to that.
"But still, it's not like I'm going to get attacked again", Dino says and it came out of his mouth meaner than he had meant to. Wonwoo takes back a step and Dino can tell that his friend is hurt.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that", Dino apologies and Wonwoo shrugs shortly.
"It's okay, we aren't responsible for the fact that everything is bad right now, Stray kids is." Dino wants to believe him, but it's hard to do so. All things just remind the brunette of the fact that Scoups is still fighting for his life while he was saving Dino and Dino only has a scratch.
"Hey, don't feel guilty," Wonwoo says, "It's not your fault, without Scoups, you would've died. And no one knew that it was a trap." Dino likes that Wonwoo can read his mind, it's way easier to express his feelings if he already knows when something is wrong.
"I did", Dino mumbles sad.
"You were litterally fighting for your life, how could you possibly have warned Scoups?" Because Dino doesn't resond, Wonwoo grabs his shoulders and gently shakes the brunette.
"Look at me," he orders, "Stop it." Dino lets his head fall down, but Wonwoo tilts it back up so Dino has to look him in the eyes.
"Stop what?" the brunette asks confused.
"All of this, your guilt, your sadness and everything you just said. You're not helping anyone with just being sad, life moves on, wether you like it or not. Cheer up, goddamnit, and if it's not for you, then do it for Scoups. We need you, Dino." Wonwoo smiles when he notices that Dino is smiling as well.
"Thank you", Dino mumbles softly.
"Any time", Wonwoo answers and the two males hug each other. After a while, they finally go out of Dino's hospital room and walk towards the entrance of the hospital. Dino doesn't know if he's ready to go to his apartment yet, it will certainly remind him of Scoups. Scoups. Dino stops his track and Wonwoo looks at him surprised.
"What is it?" the male with glasses asks concerned.
"I have to go to Scoups, I will be back soon. Wait for me at the entrance, allright?" Before Wonwoo can even answer, Dino rushes over to Scoups' room. The number is being repeated over and over again in the brunette's head. 666,666,666. Great, the devil's number, how ironic. Dino thinks while he enters Scoups' room. The brunette hasn't visited his leader since he got the news and it hurts to see his friend like this. Scoups is laying in bed, the steady sound of his heartbeat echoes through the room. Dino would have thought that the balck-haired male is just sleeping if there weren't tubes connected to him everywhere. Dino doesn't need to be a doctor to notice that Scoups is far from okay, that he's barely holding on. Dino walks over to Scoups' bed while his hands are shaking and tears are coming up in his eyes. The brunette sits down on a chair next to the bed and stares at the black-haired male for a few minutes. It brings Dino peace to see Scoups' chest rising and to hear his heartbeat, to feel the signs that his friend is still alive. He's in a coma and probably away from this world, but he's still alive, at least for now. After a few minutes, Dino finally got the courage to gently grab Scoups' hand in his. It feels warm and Dino prays that Scoups' hand will hold his back, but nothing happens. Dino could've expected it, but the brunette still feels a bit dissapointed. Scoups has fought for everything he loves, but now he seems to have given up. Does he not love himself? Does he not realize that he's precious to everyone he knows?
"I'm sorry", Dino whispers. Maybe Scoups is still mad at Dino for what he did. Maybe he wants to let Dino know what the consequences are for quitting on him. Oh, what Dino would do only to be in a fight with this male again. Everything is better than this.
"I won't quit, I promise", Dino mumbles. He's desperate, he needs his friend to wake up soon. To Dino's surprise, the black-haired male suddenly opens his mouth.
"How can I be lucky if I have no one left to share my luck with?" Scoups mutters. His voice is almost too soft for Dino to hear it, but the brunette has heard every single word. Shocked and confused, Dino stands up and calls for a doctor. Is Scoups slowly waking up? And what did the balck-haired male mean with those words?
