Chapter 39

"We have to find him!" Dino yells desperate. Wonwoo sighs and lets his head fall down defeated.
"We have no idea where he is, Dino. How are we going to find him?" the brunette looks his friend in the eyes and sits down on the couch with a sad sigh. Wonwoo seats himself next to his friend, he knows that the brunette is upset right now, but Scoups can't be stopped.
"I know that you're scared, maybe sad too", Wonwoo tries to calm Dino down.
"I'm angry", Dino snaps, "Scoups is such a selfish jerk! Why would he do this if he knows that it's going to be his death!?" Dino rants and Wonwoo stays silent because he has no words to answer with.
"We should have faith in him. If it's a one on one fight, Scoups still has a shot", Wonwoo tries to reason with Dino, but the brunette shakes his head.
"You don't get it, do you? I have been there, with Stray kids, and I know for a fact that Chan is not going to go alone! He's going to get Scoups with his whole team and there will be no one to defend our leader!" Dino yells frustrated and Wonwoo blinks in surprise.
"Do you really think that's going to happen?" Wonwoo asks softly.
"Ofcourse it is, Chan is clever, dirty and he wants revenge. Why would he take the risk?" Dino reasons with Wonwoo and the black-haired male with glasses starts to understand the situation.
"But Scoups knows Chan as well, they used to be best friends. He would know that Chan will set a trap", Wonwoo says confused and Dino sighs deeply.
"That's the thing that makes me angry, he knows he's running into a trap. He simply doesn't care, he's stupid enough to believe that Chan will stop hunting us if he gets Scoups, but I'm afraid that Chan won't stop until he has the last person of our team." Wonwoo takes a deep breath to let Dino's words sink in for a minute and turns his head towards the brunette.
"Can you drive?" Wonwoo asks and Dino scoffs offended.
"Are you stupid, blind, or both? Ofcourse I can't drive! I've been too lazy to get my driver's license, and I regret it like hell right now!" Dino runs his hands through his hair nervously and Wonwoo grabs his keys from his pocket.
"I'll drive, come on", he says before the two males leave the apartment.
"Tell the team what happened, we have to search with every man we have", Wonwoo demands Dino while they get in the car. The brunette nods and grabs his phone to text the other members.

Joshua sighs while he knocks on the door once again. He's been standing in front of Scoups' apartment for 15 minutes and he's getting irritated. Why don't they just open the fucking door?
"Come on, Dino, it's not funny! Open the fucking door!" Joshua yells while he bangs the door again, but no one responds. Grunting, the black-haired male grabs his phone to call his leader. To Joshua's surprise, it goes straight to voicemail.
"Something is wrong", he mumbles concerned. The black-haired leader will never go straight to voicemail when someone from his team is calling. Sighing, he calls Dino instead.
"Hello?" he asks when Dino actually replies.
"Joshua, why are you calling?" Dino asks and the black-haired male rolls his eyes.
"There's something wrong with Scoups", Joshua says quickly and he can hear the brunette gasp in surprise.
"Scoups is with you?" the shock flows off of Dino's voice and Joshua looks around the hallway confused.
"No, he isn't. That's the problem. I'm right outside your door. Do you mind opening it for me?" Joshua asks, starting to get impatient. Dino sighs on the other side of the line and Joshua is immediately triggered.
"What? What's wrong?" he asks quickly and a brief silence falls between the two males.
"We think that Scoups is going to fight with Chan. As in right now", Dino says concerned and Joshua wants to hit himself for being so stupid, Scoups told him he wanted to do it, but Joshua didn't think he was going to do it today.
"Wait, who is we?" Joshua asks confused after thinking for a while.
"Wonwoo is with me. We're driving around the city to find Scoups", Dino says and Joshua runs his finger through his hair in worry.
"I think I might know where he is", Joshua responds and before Dino can answer, Joshua already stops the call and runs off to a fight he knows that he might not win, or even survive.
