Dino is panting while he stares at Scoups in shock. He didn't expect to find his friend over here and certainly not in this state. Scoups is still holding the gun, but the object is pointed towards the ground. The silence is loud and Dino is waiting for Scoups to answer.
"Are you going to talk or what? What the fuck is this!?" Dino repeats angrily. He gets up while Scoups puts his gun away.
"I had so much rage, I had a nightmare and it just kind of flicked inside me. I had to leave all of that rage somewhere." Scoups tries to explain, but Dino isn't having it. He crosses his arms and scoffs.
"So your solution is to go to a random shop and destroy it? This is a man's life, you don't know how hard it took them to build this up!" Dino is filled with rage, seeing the person he trusted so much breaking everything around him, literally, just hurts him like hell.
"I was impressed, you know." Dino says when the silence is too long, "You were so goddamn calm. I was worried that you might snap, but maybe you already did." the words flow out of Dino's mouth. It's like he doesn't know how to stop, he has the feeling that he should tell Scoups everything he feels right now, that these words can change him, maybe he will regret it after, but right now, Dino doesn't care. Scoups looks at Dino and his black irisses reflect the moonlight. It's beautiful to see the black-haired male like this, but Dino is too angry to appreciate it. He just wants Scoups to understand that he is wrong.
"I was worried, my heart skipped a beat when I noticed that you weren't there! You just leave without saying anything, it fucks me up, you know!?" Dino continues, it makes him nervous that Scoups is silent the whole time.
"Yesterday, I thought that Jeonghan was overreacting. But now, I see his point. You can't just leave at a time like this! We're being hunted, you're saying it yourself! You want to protect us, but how are you going to do that when you aren't there!?" Dino stops talking and let's his words sink in for a moment. It triggers Dino that Scoups is just blankly staring at the ground while he let's the leaves twirl around his feet.
"God, can you answer for a moment! It's like you don't care, how can you even protect us if you don't care!" Dino rants while the realization suddenly hits.
"Unless-" Dino gasps in disbelief and Scoups finally looks up. The black-haired male looks at him confused, ofcourse he doesn't know what the brunette is talking about.
"Unless we don't need any protection." Dino mumbles. Scoups stares at him on surprise and raises his eyebrow.
"Wait, what? What do you mean you don't need protection?" Scoups asks confused. Dino is glad that he finally got the male's attention, but he doesn't like the effort he had to make to do that.
"Did you get into that private party? Are you the one who shot them all? Did you guys attack me!?" Dino feels tears coming up in his eyes, he quickly rubs them away. He hates it, the brunette doesn't want to cry in front of Scoups, not right now. The leader is staring at him in shock, he deffinetly didn't expect Dino to tell him this.
"What? That's all Stray kids! I thought that you already unsterstood that part!" Scoups defends himself. Dino finds it hard to believe now that he's looking at a guy who just crashed a full shop.
"I don't even know if that fucking group exists! What if you made that all up!?" Dino has to fight the urge to run away right now. He is dissapointed in Scoups, in his group and in his own trust. How could he ever trust someone that is this cruel? Out of reflex, Dino steps back, but Scoups follows him.
"Are you doubting me!? Don't you trust me?" Scoups is getting angry as well. Normally, Dino would get scared but this time, he's going to fight for his right. At this time, the only thing flowing through Dino's body is hate, dissapointment and disgust.
"I don't know, can I trust you? I only know you for a few weeks." Dino scoffs. He suddenly feels the urge to hurt Scoups, and because Dino doesn't like violance, the brunette is going to use his words.
"Why would I even fake something like this!? Don't you see how serious and dangerous this is? And why would I even kill my own members!?" Scoups tries to reason with Dino. But Dino is closing himself off of the black-haired male and keeps telling himself that he can't believe any word the male is saying.
"Then explain to me why you swapped drinks with Hoshi, while yours was poisoned!?" Dino snaps. Scoups is taken aback and Dino can notice a small gasp coming from the leaders mouth. Tears are shining from both males' eyes, but Dino can only be satisfied with the fact that he was able to hurt Scoups.
"Don't blame me for everything you're going through, Dino." Scoups answers. The sudden calmness in his voice surprises Dino, but the brunette won't give up soon.
"Watch me." he says while turning around and running away. He wants to cross the street, but a hand grabs his collar and pulls Dino back roughly, causing the brunette to only miss a honking car with an inch. Shocked, Dino stares at the car that would've hit him if Scoups didn't grab his collar in time.
"I will prove to you that you can trust me. Come to the dance room tonight and listen to us." with those words, Scoups walks away, leaving Dino alone in the morning light. Raindrops are falling onto the street while Dino let's his tears roll down his cheek. He feels betrayed and horrible, stupid and vulnerable. Dino can't go home yet because he knows that Scoups will be there.
"Great." he sighs while wandering around the city.
