I kissed his cheek and he groaned, leaning into my embrace. His large hand cupped the back of my head as his fingers brushed my hair. He looked so handsome, cute and everything I had wanted, that I couldn't help but squish his cheeks. He groaned lowly again and I chuckled before biting his cheek gently so as to not leave any mark.

"Miss me?"

"Oh I definitely will." He kissed my cheek. "You should leave now. I don't want you to miss your flight."

"Responsible Mr cat leader."

Jungwon smiled. "Oh before I forget. Here's your ring. I've been carrying it with me for a while now." He placed the ring on my palm, and I stared.

This ring was a family heirloom which costed billions. Of course Jungwon didn't know that. It was just another piece of jewelry for him. I left it once in his kitchen when I was trying to cook something. He kept it with him until now. This ring was a sign of the chains which binded me to my family. It was my golden cage.

"I kept it safe for you. Now go."

"I hate you," I murmured as I brushed my lips against his, and he groaned.

"Let me go and sleep either I'll make sure you don't sleep next time we meet."

That shut me up. I waved at Jungwon as he walked into the elevator to go to his dorm. We celebrated Jay's birthday last night, but since Jungwon had a solo schedule at midnight, he had to leave early. I was here only to say him goodbye since I was leaving for USA for Midnight Blues talk show.

The elevator doors closed and I turned only to hear the voice that has haunted me since childhood.

"Well wasn't that romantic?"

My blood ran cold. I snapped my head up, and there she was. My worst nightmare. Song Ara leaned against the wall and smirked. Her stance clearly told me that she knew I was seeing Jungwon. It might not be a love relationship, but it was something.

And, something was always enough for Song Ara to stirr up trouble.

The moment she chose Jay as her brand ambassador, I knew something was up. Ara won't even blink in wrong direction. Everything was calculated in her part. Jay too. I still didn't know why she was interested in Enhypen though. It couldn't be just because of me.

Ara didn't know about me and Jungwon until around the time of Jay's birthday party last night. That was for sure. Her sober smile when we met last night was an indication of her having a little guess of my relationship but she never probed until today.

"Did you find your ring?" Ara tilted her head. "It's interesting. I saw it with Jungwon and had to take a double take. Your family heirloom in his pocket." She walked towards me and I masked my face. No expressions. Ara right now was hoping for a weakness, and I won't give it to her. "I never thought I would see Kim Chayoung in love."

"Love?" I raised my brows. "You know me since childhood and you think I can love? You think you can love?"

"Then are you two fooling around? It doesn't look like that." She chuckled. "The moment I announced Enhypen Jay as the brand ambassador, you visited my office. Interesting, no? You don't take me as a fool. Do you?"

"I do. If you think I'll willingly love someone. That too Jungwon." I sighed dramatically. "Ara. Ara. Ara. I also know you're dating Jay-"

She burst out laughing. "I'm sorry. Wait." Ara tried but couldn't keep her giggles to herself. She was full blown laughing. "Continue. Oh my God. Ara, stop laughing," she muttered under her breath and cleared her throat. "I'm not dating anyone."
