Something about me that people didn't know was I loved playing cupid.

I had watched Ae-Cha walking towards Beomgyu Sunbae. I noticed the way how his eyes would move to her, long forgotten the girl with whom he had been talking to. The thing was they were friends according to her, but I could see there was something going on there. Ae-Cha's introvert self couldn't vibe with just anyone after all.

I had also noticed how Soobin saw the exchange happening and turned, walking away. He stopped though when saw Miyoung, and changed his path out of the corridor. His eyes met mine for a second and then he left the area.

"You like my leader, don't you?" I had asked Beomgyu other time when I met him during the rehearsals. It was 'Circle Chart Music Awards', and even though my group wasn't here, I came just to tease Beomgyu. That was my favorite pass time nowadays since I realized his feelings for her.

He glanced at me and smiled. "What gave me away?"

"Everything." I grinned. He had been around for sometime now, and was a good friend of Ae-Cha. I never put it out bluntly for her because I knew how anxious she was with these new developments, but he liked her. More than a friend. Just like she liked him. "Only my leader can't pick up the hints. Me? I'm a genius."

"Tell me about it." Beomgyu sighed and rested his head back to the wall. We were seating in the practice hall. People were coming and leaving, taking breaks and fooling around. Taehyun Sunbae came to sit beside us and handed me a water bottle. He inquired how I was here in the practice hall.

"I took a break. Thought I'll cheer up everyone here?" I smiled and he chuckled. "Show me a magic trick. Please?"

I might be a bitter person from inside, but these people, this idol life, it was my happiness as well as my resentment. It was my escape, my salvation. I had a lot of friends thanks to this debute. Talking about friends, Eun-Ae joined us and waved at everyone shyly. Complete opposite of me, yet we vibed together. While she was a shy little doll, I was a laughing stock, buzzing around.

"Hyung, how are practices going on?" A voice asked, and just like that my smile disappeared. Armours were back.

Eun-Ae stood up at once, and almost broke her back to bow down to my nemesis. Yang Jungwon. I've always had a second hand embarrassment every time she met him. "Sunbae, how are you doing?"

I rolled my eyes, but then maintained my face when Jungwon's eyes narrowed at me. It had been a few days since my birthday, but it seemed like ages ago. I got up too and bowed to him. "Sunbae, anyong," I greeted with my sweetest smile that he hated.

Jungwon had to maintain an image though, so he smiled and nodded at us before sitting beside Beomgyu and Taehyun. That was our cue to leave. I glanced over my shoulder and our eyes met. Our eye contact didn't break until he disappeared from my view.

"Ahn I feel like my heart is going to come out of my chest. My God he's such a perfect human being!"

I loved Eun-Ae, but I wished she would just shut up right now. "Yeah yeah, he is," I replied instead of roasting her crush.

About matchmaking, I did it with Beomgyu and Ae-Cha. I tried my best to get Ae-Cha work on her feelings and confess, but my God if she wasn't a tough nut to crack. "But, you clearly like him." I stomped my foot one time, trying to convince her of her own feelings for the guy.

"That's not enough," she had replied, her eyes held a distant look, and I only sighed.

I didn't understand what she meant until the day I had to.
